Please, for me, hold onto the rope called life.I know that when it gets jerked from you it burns your hands crimson red. Blood trickles down you wrists, exploring new territory.
And the tears you've been hiding, threaten to spill over their built up dams.
I know the hurt you feel inside is ten times worse than what you feel on the outside.
But please, just hold on.
Because when the rope loosens, you have time to look closer and see all the threads sewn together with preciseness. And you see that there's more to the rope than burns, blood, and tears.
And when your not so focused on holding on for dear life, there's this certain beauty to the rope.
Because when you're drowning, what are they going to throw you?
A rope.
