You're brilliant kid, you're doing better than I ever did.

You're smart, and you've got the kindest heart.

I wish I could offer you some wisdom, but I see you've already built yourself quite a kingdom.

So all I have to give you is a story of my past,
See time goes so fast.

You're twenty and your building an empire, you don't have time to slow down if anything you're trying to jump higher.

But take just this little advice, slow down just a little it will suffice.

I know you're on a high, but there's so much to see before you die.

Enjoy the little things, like the way she sings.

Because those are the most important times, and they don't even cost a few dimes.
