The Arena:
According to the gamemakers, the arena begins with the Cornucopia, which is on a large flat area of dirt. It holds foods, medicine, and suppilies that the tributes must fight over. The arena also contains forests, streams, meadows, pools, caves, a wheat field, and a lake. The arena is also filled with Capitol-made muttations such as wolf-like mutts and tracker jackers. In addition, the add some flavor to the game, the gamemakers added traps such as a device that sent fireballs at the tributes.
The Uniforms:
As usual, all the tributes have the same uniform, since the tribute's prep teams have no say. The uniforms for this year's hunger games consist of tawny pants, a light green shirt, a sturdy brown belt, and a thin, hooded black jacket that goes down to the thighs. The outfits also include boots which are worn over tight socks. The boots are made of a soft leather with a flexible sole, good for running. The uniforms are meant to reflect body heat, meaning that the arena will become cold. Tributes, expect some cold nights.
