I walked through the clothing store with Julia picking through all the blouses and dresses, finding my way to the jeans section. Since it was Wednesday I didn't have to work today and Julia decided to ask for the day off to come shopping with me to get new clothes for my finally year of high school, which started on Tuesday next week. I picked out some T-shirts and a few blouses, cardigans, a new jacket that would be great for the fall, and now some jeans. I grabbed the bags from the cashier and we after we left Julia decided we'd go get lunch.

"Excited to finally be a senior?" She asked breaking the silence.

"I guess, I'm already done with this school."

"You have to keep up those grades Amelia, you need a scholarship because who knows if we'll have enough money to put you through collage."

" I know, I know."

"No, don't just say 'I know,' Im serious and you should be too. Don't let anyone or anything get in your way, or even distract you from seeing what's more important."

"So you wanna come or not?" He asked through the phone.

"I don't know, wouldn't you get in trouble if you weren't working and you had a visitor?" I ask back.

"No, you already told me anyways, you knew the owner, and besides no one else is really here besides me and a couple of other guys, and I don't get off until eight thirty. Come on, pleaseeee?" Harry holds on to each word begging me to come hang out with him now at the farm he works at.

"Fine," I finally give in. "Guess I'll be there in twenty minutes."

"Alright, see ya later."

Julia was downstairs with her two friends she's known in college talking and remising through old memories so it's a bit easy for me to ask and for her to say yes when I ask her if I could go out. I put on my low old tennis shoes and head out to the car and drive to Clinton Farm. I park behind a few abandoned trucks and mine seems to blend in, so no one would question the outsider car. I realize that Harry didn't tell me where to meet him and I end up walking behind small stands and trucks until I decided to go to one of the barns. There's nothing but horses and I smile as I walk over to one of them. Memories of when I use to come here with my dad and Julia to train to horseback ride come in to my head but are quickly diminished when I hear his low raspy voice come from the other side.

"Oh good, you made it." He says smiling and walking towards the horse and I. "Hi Amelia."

"You can call me Em,." I say first of all. "So Harry, why'd you want me to come here again?" I smile.

"Well I was pretty bored since Keith left early and I don't know too many people here, so I decided to call you. I'm actually surprised you came."

"Well we have two hours until you get out then, so what did you have in mind as to what we would do?"

I smirk forms on his face before he speaks. "We can finally get to know each other."

"Oh Harry I-"

" Amelia, no, I already told you that night at the party, you always interested me, some how I find myself thinking about you lately, especially since we first kissed." He moves in closer and he's too close and I'm able to step out of the way.

"Alright so what do you want to know then?"

He thinks and looks down concentrating on what ever he had in mind. "Do you horseback ride?"

I'm a bit thrown off at his first question since I thought it would be something different. "I use to, haven't rode one in a long time though.."

"Well, it's always nice to start again."
