I decided not to tell Julia of the run in Scott, Ronnie and I had on Tuesday, but of course I still looked like a mess when I got home and she did question me. "I thought I'd take a shortcut but it didn't go too well." Is all I told her. Harry ended up driving me home that day, and because of us getting jumped, he had been taking me home everyday now just to make sure nothing like that happened again. It was now a week later, and things have been decent. Randy has decided to keep a distance, although who knows how long that'll last. There's a party on the east side again on Saturday for the start of football season. Everyone always makes it a big deal, and I have to admit that it is pretty exciting but then it gets too dramatic.
All my four classes before lunch go by astonishingly quickly considering that Monday always feels like the longest day. I've continued to sit with Diane and the rest of our friends, and things are just as they were last year again. At least, for now.
A slight whisper sound came from the left of where I was sitting and Marcia was aiming to get my attention. "Yeah?" I ask.
"Are you bringing your friend Harry to the party?" She says slightly quite. I hadn't thought about that and thought that this time I'd go just with someone from school instead. That way, just incase, there'd be no trouble.
"No, if don't think he'd be able to come this time." I tell her.
"Oh, too bad, he seemed really nice and fun." She straightens up. "I saw him at the Plaza once, although, he was with those kids from the west." She rolls her eyes a bit at the mention of 'those kids.'
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Yep, I thought about going over to say hi, but that ruined it." She slightly rolls her eyes. "Is he like them?" I raise my eyebrows at her and she continues. "You know? Like, juvenile? Disobedient to the law?" She chuckles.
"No, I don't think so. Why?"
"Just wondering." She shrugs.

Harry's P.O.V
"Come on, it's just for like an hour." Stewart tells me.
"Are you sure? I gotta be somewhere later." I inform him.
"Where? It probably isn't important. Is it?"
"Kinda." I answer, and avoid telling him that I'm actually going to pick up Amelia so she won't have to walk and possibly get jumped again, but I know that this is actually way more important right now.
"Oh c'mon Styles, it'll only be for a bit, then you can go run your little errands." He moves his arm, instructing me to follow him to his car, which I do. "You're the one that wants to find the guy that killed your brother right?" I nod. "So let's go then."
"So you're sure you know where this guy is?" I ask him.
"No, I didn't say I know where he is. I said that I know a guy that has some kind of contact with his friends, and that'll get you closer to him. Either that or you can just go find Smith yourself."
"I haven't even seen Smith since that night too, one of the guys that also worked with my brother told me that, that group that was out at the docks the day the man shot Chris, decided to come back to America and wait for things back home to die down. I guess Chris somehow knew they would all flee and come here." I analyze.
"Doesn't that guy, Darrel work for Smith too?"
"Yeah, I already tried talking to him." I say and think about that day at the drag race where my fists moved faster than my mouth.
