Amelia's P.O.V
"Hello everybody." Ronnie spoke out opening the door wide enough for me to come in.
"Hey guys" I say walking in.
I'm greeted by Ronnie's brother, Riley , and our friend Scott who sat next to Riley on the couch, and then Danny who entered the room with a bottle of beer.
"What's up Ronnie," he smiles "hey Em" he nods up at us. He went to sit at the single chair next to Riley.
"Hey man, save the beer, that's your third one since you've been here today." Riley said foolishly trying to reach for it.
"Come on," Danny replied taking a sip "it's only three, and the last one I had was an hour ago." He playfully punches his friends arm.
I had known everyone here for a long time now. I first met Veronica in middle school. I was with a group of the junior cheerleaders one morning, talking in front of school, when they saw Ronnie arrive and talking to a bunch of guys, from the east side of town. The girls I was with were from the west, and so was I. Ronnie had looked over at us quickly then one of the girls decided to make a quick comment about the lower class.
"Oh wow, real clever coming from some stupid air head like you." Was all Veronica said and continued walking along with the guys who were already smiling and laughing. A small giggle escaped from my lips and I knew she was great. Later on that day I tried talking to her but she knew who I was and where I lived and she didn't seem to like me, but after a while, she saw I wasn't real different.
Now looking around the living room here, everyone was their own character and had a different personality which is what kept this group interesting.
Riley was one of Veronica's older brothers, being eighteen, but he was going to turn nineteen next week in fact. He was tall with similar features as Ronnie, with their blue green eyes that stood out and he had dark brown hair he always combed and greased back. He was real funny and filled with so much energy, and he didn't need to get drunk like most people to have a good time.
His partner in crime who sat by him was Danny. A tall, muscular, nineteen year old with light brown short hair. He was always having fun as well, but he needed the beers help to do that. I wasn't always a fan of him because of how rude he could be, but you get use to it because he doesn't always sincerely mean it.
Possibly my favorite in the group was Scott, also the youngest because he was only sixteen. He had short dark blonde with big brown sympathetic eyes. He was around my height but had a stocky buff build like the rest of the guys. He always listened to what I had to say and he was the softest, at mind and heart out of all of us, sweet kid really. Although being "sweet" wasn't good enough in a place like this, so I've learned.
"So what are you guys doing then?" I heard Veronica ask.
" I don't know, maybe get rip roarin' drunk" answers Danny chuckling
"Oh surprise, surprise." I say "when aren't you getting drunk?"
"When he's working" Riley answers for him "he needs the job to buy the booze anyways."
We laugh and then everyone continues talking while watching some idiotic comedy movie.
Suddenly the phone in the kitchen rings and Riley jumps up from his seat to answer. He's always loud so we can hear what he's saying and hear that he's talking to James.
"Oh, by the way, some guy, named Harry came looking for you." He paused and I'm guessing James was speaking.
"Yeah, you remember his brother Chris Styles, don't ya?" Riley asked
