Phoenix POV
It's been a month.
Everything has been non stop, tour planning has taken over Petes life and rehearsing with the band has taken up most of mine, Hemmingway is one of the most obedient and loving puppies a girl could wish for. I've spent a lot of time at Tyler's , playing basketball, watching movies... generally just getting life's jigsaw back into place,
And it feels so good.
The hard work has paid off though, the first show was last night and it couldn't have gone better. The crowd was lively, they loved the originality of Tyler and Josh's set and somehow knew most of the words to my songs which is surreal to think about. Most importantly when fall out boy came on they all cheered extra loud to welcome Pete back.
Speaking of Pete... we're closer than ever, however it's not the case with Josh. Him and Pete still hate each other to the point where if one walks in a room the other will instantly leave regardless of the importance of their presence... it sucks but it's progress.

Today is the NYC show, this means I get to see An old friend after the set...I've missed him a lot.

I wake up,
I'm in the back bedroom of the bus, it's starting to feel like home now.. a much more unsanitary home..
I lift my head to see Pete still fast asleep with his arms tangled round me, I sit there for a moment, taking in the fact that both josh and Tyler are in bunks just next door.
"Pete.... Peeete"
I whisper at first, lightly poking his arm which is, a little too tightly, squeezed into my stomach.
"Pete.."
I start to shake him,
"Hmmrmff"
A mumbling noise arises from the bed-headed mess covered in sheets.
"Oh... what's the time?"
He says, while his eyes are still tightly shut.
I snort at the zombie like creature he's become and check my phone.
"9 am I'm afraid"
"Whys that bad? It means we have an hour"
He says slumping his head hard into his pillow,
"Pete! Don't you have rehearsals?"
"Urrmpf"
He mumbles into the pillow, both arms still gripping me. He suddenly pulls me next to him quickly making me jump.
He laughs to himself,
"Pete-"
"Ah ah!"
He puts a finger to my lips, finally his eyes open.
"I forget I managed to make a beautiful girl come on tour with me"
I roll my eyes and kiss him quickly before scrabbling out of bed and getting dressed... one of the most tedious things a human must do.
"Where are you going?"
His disappointment is adorable, almost as adorable as the puppy running around because its owners decided to wake up.
"Morning hemmy!"
I say in the dog voice, still makes Pete roar with laughter. I roll my eyes yet again and pull over my oversized Chicago bulls hoodie. As I reach for the door I pause before rushing back to hemmingways bowl and filling it for the days meal.

I slide the door open and prepare for the smell of unwashed clothes and well.. guys. As I walk through the bunks I realise they're all still alseep, I don't blame them it was a long night, even Tyler is out and he's not a sleeper.
I open the main door to see a bright, very excited face.
"Jon! What the hell?!"
Standing there in his typical vest and basketball shorts was Jon, I met him in high school. Jon was always the one to keep me motivated and really help my creativity along.
If I wasn't hiding in the studio or at Tyler's I was at Jons trying to write a song... basically I was never home.
"Phee I have a REALLY cool idea and I HAD to find you!"
His eyes where huge and his smile stretches all the way to his ears. This was his typical I have an idea look.
"OK SO"
He begins as he walks from the bus to his car,
"Woah okay stop a sec! I've got to tell Pete where I'm going!"
He feezes and spins round, his face filled with as much confusion as there is disappointment,
"You've got to tell who now?"
"....Pete?..OH"
From all the events that has been I realise in that moment I'd completely forgotten to tell Jon about what happened since he moved back to NYC.. most importantly me and Pete.
I grab him by the hand,
"Oh boy we have some catching up to do"
"But the idea.."
He mumbles gazing lovingly at his car as I drag him further away from it.
"Let me explain what's happened in these past few months.. I just have to tell them where I'm going, most importantly him."
He pulls us to a stop and gives me the look,
You know the look a friend gives you when you mention someone of the opposite sex. That look.
"Him?"
He says in a high pitched voice with raised eyebrows.
"Would you just get to the bus"
I roll my eyes and pull him along.

As we reach the bus Tyler, who's probably been awake for god knows how long, is standing on the bench just to the left of the bus.
"Is that?"
"Yep"
I let go of Jon and run towards Tyler,
"What the hell are you doing up there?"
Tyler obviously didn't see me coming because he jumped so hard he almost lost balance,
"PHEE WHAT THE"
He regains his breath and climbs down.
"Oh I was just getting signal.. I'm trying to reach Jenna.."
He blushes,
Tyler and Jenna are the kind of couple that has no arguments and aren't afraid to show their love.. basically every romance movie ever but in real life.
I roll my eyes again, I seem to be doing this too often.
"TYLERRR MY MAN"
Jon comes running up and crashes into the poor guy for a great hug.
"GAH.. hey Jon"
"Hey Ty I'm going to the green room to catch up with Jon.. is Pete up?"
Tyler breaks the hug laughing and checks his watch,
"Should be.. unless you didn't wake him when you got up?"
Jons face lights up
"Now you've GOT to tell me who this guy is!"
"I can do better.. wanna meet him?"
He nods his head enthusiastically as I lead him inside.
"God DAMN it stinks here what the fuck are you keeping in here"
"Guys." I laugh,
Right as we walk in Pete is on the sofa with Joe, they're both screaming at their Xbox game.
"Pete" I say calmly.. no reply.
"Pete" I say again... no reply.
"Peter" I say sternly, Joe looks up and pauses the game, his eyes in full contact with mine.
"DUDE what the fuck I was about to-"
Pete very quickly stops mid sentence as he sees the reason of Joes silence.
"We where just about to practise.. Andy and Patrick are already there!.."
He smiles hesitantly, I roll my eyes yet again.
"Pete, Joe meet Jon my friend from high school"
Pete immediately jumps to his feet and shakes Joes hand, as he does I watch him scan him, we all know why.
"Sup" he says blatantly judging him.
Joe breaks the awkwardness by sliding his hand between theirs,
"Wait.. I know you guys?" As Jon behind to piece his memory I quickly end the encounter,
"Well I'm going to catch up with Jon!"
I say as I push him out the door with me,
Pete pulls me back into the bus.
"Who's that?"
"A school friend"
"Should I trust him?"
"Do you trust me?"
"Touché" he laughs, I quickly kiss him,
"I'll be in my dressing room talking with Jon, nothing else"
I wink as I close the door.
"Well he seems.. nice.. I swear I've seen him before"
"You have, I'll explain let's just get to the goddamn dressing room"

The dressing room in this venue was like all the others, one sofa, snacks, bathroom down the hall and fall out boys dressing room next door... good to have him close for anxiety.
"Ok am I blind or did I see fall out boys name on that door?"
Jon says as he slumps on the sofa eating one of the free cookies. They where Kats idea.
"You aren't mistaken, I'm on tour with them!"
I say as I slump next to him.
"How the fuck did you do that"
"Well you just met the main reason"
I laugh as his face lights up once more,
"Did I just meet Pete Wentz and Joe Trohman?"
"You did indeed."
