Katelyn's POV

I run a shaky hand through my powder blue hair.

I then drop my head into my hands.

I had just texted Aaron to come to the hospital.

I was sitting in the waiting room. 

A guilty feeling running through my body.

I felt like I could have done something.

If she dies......Lilth....Sylvana..

...Aaron...

I hear the doors swing open, in comes a panicked Aaron. 

He runs up to me, panting and holding his knees.

"Where...is...she...." He manages out. 

I wipe my tears away with my palms.

"She is in surgery" I tell him. He sighs and plumps down next to me.

"What happened?" I asked, curious why he wasn't home.

"I was dropping off Lilth at Cadenza's....I was planning a surprise weekend for us.." Aaron said.

His face drops into his palms.

"Aaron....I think that Aphmau may...." I start, but a surgeon comes into the clearing.

"Family of Ms. Phoenix?" She says, looking up from a clipboard.

"YES HERE" Aaron says, standing up quick.

"Follow me please" She gestures us to follow.

We enter the generic hospital room.

Aphmau was all bandaged up and pale.

But she was breathing on her own. Phew.

Aaron went to her side and grasped her hand, tears forming in his eyes.

This has happened too many times.

A man wearing navy blue scrubs (the outift surgeons wear) entered the room. 

He had fantastic hair.

"Hello I'm Dr. Shepard, I'm the chief of neurosurgery here at Phoenix Grace Hospital and I need to talk Ms. Phoenix's family about something we found out.." He spoke.

I was slightly blushing, but it was covered by my irritated face from crying.

"You can talk to me.." Aaron said, his voice hoarse.

His eyes never leaving Aphmau.

"Aphmau has Acoustic neuroma, which is a...."

"Brain tumor.." I say, not even stopping myself.

THIS MUST REALLY TICK ALOT OF YOU OFF!
