"Why do you get such a rush from caffeine?" Katelyn questions, loosely stirring her cup of coffee, sitting at the kitchen counter on her usual bar stool.
"Caffeine is known to boost the effects of the neurotransmitters serotonin, dopamine and acetylcholine. Dopamine, for example, is known to affect levels of concentration." I say, without stuttering, which does not happen often.
Katelyn looks up at me, raising her eyebrow.
"Aaron has me stuck in this house....I have nothing else to do..."I respond, sipping my warm water.
"Do you guys know the gender yet?" Katelyn asks, tracing her finger along the top of the mug.
"Ya....She's a girl....." I say slowly, trying to hide my face with my mug.
"Like Zoey...." Katelyn states, the air still.
"What about the name?" Katelyn asks, trying to lighten the mood.
"We decided on Alina."I say, actually with a smile.
"Alina..." Katelyn repeats.
"Thats a beautiful name" She says, with a smile.
"Wow.....you are really living your life Aphmau....." She starts, I open my mouth to speak, but she puts a finger to her lips.
"So much has happened to you, but because of that, you are the person you are today....." She says with a smile.
"Thanks Katelyn"
"Now, you are going to help me with Travis's eating problem" She says.
I burst out laughing, my hormones sending me crazy.
" okay you are no help...crazy pregnant lady" Katelyn mutters under her breath.
"I HEARD THAT!" I shout, sipping my caffeine again.
"Oh......crap....." Katelyn said, fear laced in my voice. I will post again today because of my absence yesterday. Have a nice day my crystals!
