I open my eyes, groggily to the sun shining through the hospital room window.
I look down, I see Aphmau.
I let out a big sigh.
Why do I feel like I'm gonna lose her...
I can't lose her.
It would be like if the sun disappeared.
All the light in my world would disappear leaving me in the darkness.
I feel her stir, and slide my arm off her and lift myself off the bed.
I sit on the chair, and continue to admire her.
My best friend.
The love of my life.
The mother of my child...
For a while that is....
She opened her eyes, squinting them then turned to me.
She smiled a bit, I smiled back.
"Don't look at me in the mornings." She says.
"Hehe....you look beautiful...I love you.." I say..
She smiles, then opens her mouth to speak, but nothing comes out.
Instead, her eyes roll to the back of her head, and she becomes limp.

The heart monitor goes crazy.
I leap up, horrified by the sound and Aphmau...
"NURSE! NURSE!" I shout, trying to get help.
The young woman from yesterday came in and pressed a button on the wall.
A loud automated voice rings through the building yelling.
"CODE BLUE ROOM 409 CODE BLUE ROOM 409"
I turn back to Aphmau, she was limp, the heart monitor was beeping faster and faster.
"Aph...aph.....look at me....hey hey...don't do this....please don't do this.." I whisper as people started to fill the room.
They were dragging in a cart.
One man rubbed two large pieces of metal, called defibrillators, together and yelled clear.
I watched, horrified as he pressed them to Aphmau's chest, making her lurch up, then back down.
She was still limp.
I lean against the wall and cover my mouth with my hand.
No.
You can't do this Aph....No..
....Irene don't take her yet...
....Please....
..but....if you see Zoey....tell her daddy said hello...
Aphmau's POV
I open my eyes to see me floating, I was flying.
I was looking down on my hospital room.
The weird thing is that I saw me.
I was limp, grey, and deadish looking.
I saw Aaron leaning against the wall, failing at stifling his sobs
Was I dead?
Am I a spirit?
"No, you aren't dead yet" I heard a voice boom.
I looked to where the voice came from.
It was a woman in a blue and white cloak, the one from my previous dreams.
She was holding a baby, it looked to be a girl.
She walked over to me, and handed me the baby, I gave her a confused look.
"You are trapped between worlds, that little baby is Zoey Leona Lycan." She said, with a hood covering her face.
I looked down.
Sure enough the baby was a girl with black hair and black eyes.
She had my nose and Aaron's eyes.
I smiled.
"You may think if you die you will be free, of pain and suffering? But no. You won't. You will also cause pain to those around you, especially Aaron." She says pointing at a sobbing Aaron.
"You are destined for amazing things Aphmau, things you haven't accomplished yet"
"Run Aphmau.....Go....."
I give a quick glance at Zoey, she held my finger with her strong hand.
I then hand the woman Zoey and fell onto the hospital bed.
