"Yello?" I picked up Jerome's phone. Mitch and Jerome sat at chairs in Mcdonalds, and I was at the end. Jerome looked at me, like he was asking 'Why are you taking my phone?'
"Maddiline? Why aren't you at school?" My father asked. Dang it. Being myself, I wanted to yell, 'I am a seventeen year old senior! I can do what I want!'.
"I am," I faked a cough. "Sick. They sent me... home." When I paused I did another fake cough. I think I did a good job at acting.
"Well, I have some good news for you. You have an appointment with Dr. Richardson for helping you have moving legs!" He exclaimed. I opened my mouth to talk, with a big smile on my face, thinking about how it would be like. Different, that's all I know.
"What was that, Maddie?" Jerome asked me, his mouth was filled with fries. I scowled, rolling my eyes as I handed him the phone.
"So, what's going on?" Mitch asked me as he took a big drink of his cola. I mouthed, 'Moving legs'. "Surgery?" He said aloud.
"No. Treatment." I smiled, he walked over to me and wrapped his warm arms around me. His breath went on my back, and it smelled like meat. Jerome gave Mitch a glare as we separated. Still smiling, I threw my hair over my left shoulder and looked behind me.
I am so screwed.
All I thought was, 'Please don't see me, please!' but with my being myself, I didn't turn my head back. Only when she saw me I did, which was too late.
It was a friend of Amelia and Arianna, their 'fattest' friend. To be fair, they make themselves regurgitate food, and she doesn't. She eats, then works out. How do I know? I really heard it from a fight they had. Her brown eyes mentally made you want to die, and her head was a bit too big. Her fake red hair framed her jaw line. Also, this girl is a big fan of my brother, who she does not know is my brother.
"Are you kidding me?" Danni Ray yelled inside of the fast food joint. She walked over to us, waving flirtatiously to Jerome and Mitch. I got mad when she waved to Mitch, and I wanted to punch her in the face. Or roll my wheel chair wheels across her feet. It's just something that I feel towards Mitch that makes me want to do that. Maybe it's love? No, I can't love him. I am just his un-blood related sister, nothing more. "You are hanging out with this disabled stupid fan girl? Why not hang out with a more committed fan like me?"
"That is my sister." Jerome rose from his seat. I took a deep breath, trying to ignore her. Another reason to punch her in the face.
"Pft, stop the act. She's just a fan in a wheel chair, she shouldn't ge- OW!" She screeched as I rolled over her feet. I looked at her with an innocent look.
"Oops." I smiled as Mitch put his hands on the handles of my chair and rolled me out of Mcdonalds. He bent down and whispered into my ear, "Nice one, Maddie."
