Stephanie answered the phone. "Finally! Peyton, where are you?"
"Mom, do not freak out." He said.
"Why not?"
"I'm about to board a plane heading out of the country."
Both of them paused for a second. "WHAT?!" Stephanie screamed.
"Listen, mom. I'm trying to warn you. I'm going to send you a link. Take a look at it." Stephanie saw the link that Carrie had shown around, and read it. Her eyes widened. Oh no... She thought. She was wrong. Matthew hadn't changed at all. If anything, he was more dangerous than ever. Part of her wanted to cry, but the other part of her had to keep it together.
"Mom, Carrie asked a friend to keep an eye on him, but she saw him go into the new Freddy's location. We think he's going there to kill Mr. Smith, that guy that couldn't save Jake when he died. Do not go near there. Just call the police, and stop him." Peyton explained, calmly.
"And why can't you?"
"I think it's because Carrie's friends are kind of wanted. Like, really wanted. Like, electric chair wanted."
"Peyton Patrick, we are having a serious talk when you get back home. You had better get over here right-" But Peyton had already hung up.
New Freddy's location? Stephanie thought. She had to see if it was true. So she didn't call the police. Instead, she grabbed her coat, and ran out the front door.
