Lotor approached the sight where the red lion had landed. He had expected to find something to help gain the upper hand against the paladins of Voltron. He was not expecting to be gifted with one of the paladins. There, in front of him lay the red paladin, wounded, unconscious, and starting to transform into something.
"Tell Zarkon immediately" Lotor ordered as he moved closer. He picked the small human up, semi cradling the red paladin. Something about this Paladin was very familiar.
Meanwhile, Shiro and the others were waiting for the red lion to open so that they could help Keith. When the lion opened, there was no sign of Keith except his bayard. Shiro stared in horror.
"No. No! KEITH!!!" Shiro yelled. He started to search the whole lion thoroughly. The rest of the team spread out to check scanners and repair systems. After six hours, the red lion locked Shiro outside of her. Shiro sat down in front of the lion, so worried, confused, mad, and helpless. Allura entered the hanger.
"Shiro, we need you to eat." She pleaded softly.
"Not until I get my son back, Princess." Shiro stated.
"Son?" Coran asked, behind the princess.
"I adopted Keith five years ago. He had just entered the system. He was an orphan from birth, or so he told me. Someone had dropped him off in the desert, close to where the blue lion was located. I found him before he died of dehydration. No memories of his real parents. The people who dropped him in the desert had severely abused him, probably wanted to kill him. I almost lost him once due to a terrible virus. His first case of the common cold. He seemed not to know anything about earth or how humans behaved." Shiro said to the whole group, his head in his hands. Lance snorted.
"Most aliens behave more like humans than keith." Lance stated. Most of the group nodded.
"We were supposed to believe that Keith is human?" Coran asked. Shiro's head shot up. Everyone stared at Coran. "Was it something I said?"
