I couldn't breathe. I looked all around seeing cops walk and scribble on notepads. I started pacing a little too. Then, I accidentally ran into a cop.

".......Sorry um hmm Sir." I could barely speak.

"Are you okay, young lady?" He looked at me like I was a new species.

"Where is he?" My voice shook.

"Where is who?" He spoke calmly.

"Jay. Where is Jay?" I could feel my palms start to sweat.

"Oh, Does he live here?" He narrowed his eye brows and looked me straight in the eye.

"Yes, he's my age." I tried to sound calm for a moment.

"Oh I see." Then, he walked away. HE WALKED AWAY.

"Wha...where are you going?!" I yelled and a group of neighbors looked in my direction. He walked up to me and spoke,

"I'm going to look around for him. Will you calm down?" He looked at some cops behind him.

"I...I guess." I fell to the grass and sat there hugging my knees. I started to cry and I buried my head in between my knees. What was going on? What happened? I need to find out.

I sat there for at least 20 minutes crying. I heard more people walk up and whisper and ask cops what was going on. They had told people, but I didn't bother to listen when they did. I didn't care what happened. I just needed to know if Jay was okay. I just needed Jay. I was in the middle of more crying when I felt a shadow loom over me and say

"Mame?" Who called me mame? I looked up and saw the cop. When he saw me his facial expression softened. I stood up feeling weak.

"What?" I mumbled.

"I looked in the house and talked to some other guys." He cleared his throat.

"They said that the boy was taken to the hospital." He looked sympathetic.

"Thank...you then." I looked around and crossed my arms.

"Well, what happened?" I looked at his badge and saw Reynolds.

"Apparently, a man who was not liked by this family came over to get revenge on the father. He injured all members of the family." He cleared his throat once again.

"He almost killed the father." The cops expression turned from sympathetic to cold. I couldn't believe this.

"......Do you know who did this?" I ran my hand through my hair.

"I'm afraid not. The man ran off taking the weapons with him." I shuddered. "Okay. Thank you."

I nodded for him to leave. I looked around and saw almost the whole neighborhood surrounding Jay's house. I needed to get out. I dove through the crowd and tripped and fell on the concrete sidewalk.

"Crap." I mumbled and looked up at someone familiar, but.......Ugh I can't remember their name.

"Oh, nice to see you, Marley." A smirk appeared on the dark figures face.

"I...I can't see you." I squinted and still couldn't see or remember them.

"Well Marley I"m wearing a dark jacket." There was something in his tone.

"You always did say I looked good in black." He leaned down and clasped my hand helping me up.

"I don't....remember that." I tried to look at his face but I couldn't see. He was tall and skinny like Jay.

"You really don't remember me?" He sounded so disappointed.

"Not really." I felt sorry for him. Wait, I don't even know him.

"You should though." He grabbed my wrist and lead me to the back of the neighbors house. Then, he kissed me. I slapped him multiple times and tried to say stop, but it came out as fop. He kept on kissing me, then finally stopped.

"What do you want from me?" I yelled and pushed him away.

"I'm your boyfriend, Marley." He sounded irritated. "...No you aren't." I walked to the front of the house. He caught up.

"Jay is my boyfriend!!" I screamed and had a cold chill.

"I mean...I don't even know who you are and you kiss me?!" I stopped and looked the mysterious guy straight in the eye. I saw soft dark blue eyes.

"You do know me." He put both of his hands on my shoulders.

"Will you fucking leave me alone.. you....you...freak?!" I stormed off and ran to my house. I slammed the front door and sat against it. I got up and washed my entire face. I felt dirty from the strange dude kissing me. I didn't put anymore makeup on and I threw my hair into a cute ponytail. I grabbed my phone and looked in at least 10 kitchen drawers for my mom's Ford Focus car keys. I have my license, but I just don't like to drive. I finally found them. Thank goodness. I didn't want to walk in the dark for a mile, then get a taxi and I don't want that guy to find me. I walked into the garage and started up my mom's car. It smelled like her perfume and made me want to cry. I drove through the city and found the hospital. It wasn't the one I go to. I parked and ran to the main desk.

"Yes?" the lady looked up from her computer.

"I'm looking for Jay Johnson." I started tapping my fingers on the desk impatiently earning a look from the desk lady. "He's upstairs." She typed a little then raised her eyebrow.

"Well, what room number?" I sounded way more annoyed than I actually was.

"Room 109." She typed some more and clicked a few times.

"Okay....well thanks." I made my way to the elevator. I could take the stairs since it''s 1 level, but what fun would that be? I searched walking up and down the first hallway hearing all types of beeps and zings from hospital stuff. I looked in rooms seeing patients that were fully alive and some that were barely here. Then, I saw Room 109.

"Oh my gosh." I went up to Jay and cupped his cheek with my hand. There were scratches on his face. He was asleep, but woke up when I kissed him on the forehead.

"Hey." He whispered and I said "Hey Jay." He smiled and patted my hand. I teared up at seeing his black eye.

"Are you okay?" He smiled at me and mumbled  "Yeah." I leaned down on the bed.

"I was so...worried." I started to cry.

"Hey, don't cry, I'm right here." He sat up and hugged me. I managed to smile. Then, his nurse walked in.

"Oh hello." She smiled and grabbed a cup of water and 2 pills for Jay.

"Can he leave soon?" She laughed.

"Yes sweetie. Even though he got here 1 hour ago, he is pretty good." She gave the water and pills to Jay.

"He should go home in about 2 days. He did break his arm. and he is badly bruised in some spots." She stood by the door and smiled. "Okay, thanks." She smiled in return and left.
