I walked back to bed and tried to sleep once more, but my mind wouldn't let me. I decided to give up at 6:00 AM. I got up and put jeans, a blue shirt, and a long blue sweater on. I washed my face and put mascara on. My hair looked like I pulled it out, so I put it in a ponytail. I looked the best I had looked in over 2 weeks. I sort of smiled a little. It felt good. My psychiatrist told me to think of facts about myself to improve my memory.
My name is Marley Simon. I was born September 5th, 1998. My dad is dead. My mom is dead. I was almost dead. I'm 16 years old. I used to have a life. My boyfriend's name was Jay. My bestfriend's name was.......
Aimee. Aimee. I remembered.
"I remembered!" I yelled and laughed at myself. and started to cry happy tears. "Oh my gosh!"I was so happy.
I pranced around the living room and I accidentally knocked over a picture. I stopped laughing and smiling and I looked and picked up the frame. It was my parents standing side by side at their wedding. The glass was shattered. I teared up and I took the picture out and sat it on the table.
I grabbed an old Aeropostale sweatshirt and threw it on. Right before I walked into the entryway I saw my old cellphone.I grabbed it and put it in my pocket and walked into the early morning light.
