After babysitting the twins for Ric, I went back to the my house and spent the last couple hours just writing in my diary before I went to bed.

As I woke up in the morning, I woke up to a mass text from Caroline. She was apparently planning for all of us to take a day off from training and go to this big party that was apparently being thrown in...California.

It had taken me quite some time to decide whether or not to go, but I figured it would've arose more suspicious if I turned the invitation down, considering the only two people that knew about it were Klaus and I.

Texting Caroline back a reluctant "yes," I figured that it would be best to start packing. With that being said, I heaved myself off of the bed and made my way over to the closet. Picking out a casual outfit, which consisted of a red flannel and jeans with black heeled boots. Some might have called it Katherine Pierce country vibes. Anyways, the fancy outfit was much more elegant. It was a floor-length yellow dress, which complimented my bronzed skin tone. Moving along, I packed my makeup and a few books that I would read when Caroline insisted we go to the beach. Lastly, I packed my vervain locket in case we were to see Stefan.

I then called Caroline and Bonnie, asking them when would be best to meet them. They had texted back, saying whenever I was ready. After that, I grabbed my bags and left my house, going to meet them. Usually, I would feel happy about getting a vacation away from all the supernatural drama. However, what the girls didn't know, is they were leading me right into it.

We all decided to meet at Klaus's because that's where Caroline would be, as well as Davina. It was a shock to see Kol there, to say the least. What was even more surprising, however, was what Davina's love had done to change him. I didn't know why I was so shocked, considering I had seen Caroline do the same thing with Klaus. The Mikealson had all been through so much that they had turned cold to the world, and the only thing to fix that was for them to find the loves of their lives.

Klaus came over to me and ensured that I was okay and ready to go on the trip. I simply nodded, not trusting my voice to do any talking.

He must have seen right through me though, because a flicker of doubt crossed his gaze. I clearly carried enough compassion in him to not question it since he just gave my shoulder a squeeze. Caroline then came over to join us and swallowed me up in a hug. "I'm so excited you're going! This will just be like the year after me, you, and Bonnie met when we both went to Disneyland together!" I smiled, reflecting back on the memory.

"Yeah, it definitely will be! Remember when we were all freaking out because Mikey kissed me, and how that was technically my first kiss?"

"Yeah! You went and we bragging to Jenna because she hadn't had her first kiss until she was nineteen, and you were eight at the time," Caroline finished off with a laugh. We kept on reminiscing about how childish the three of us were at the time, and how much we had grown. We remembered when Vicki Donovan was being a complete brat, saying how she didn't want us to come back home. This caused Caroline and me to go and hatch a "revenge" plan. We were in mid-conversation when Klaus cut us off, insisting it was time to go.
