I was currently wearing a loungey white dress as I sat on the bed with Caroline, Bonnie, and Davina, the four of us just updating each other on everything that had been going on recently.

"Caroline, have you found a dress yet?" Davina—who was going to be one of her bridesmaids—asked.

"I have," Caroline grinned, her eyes glowing as the smile got wider.

"Oh, and I'm just it's absolutely gorgeous, just like you!" Bonnie commented, showing support for her best friend.

"It's not my fault Klaus thinks I deserve the best of the best. I swear he thinks I don't know how much money he spends on me, but I do—"

"Caroline, you know he only does that because he loves you?" I interrupted, playfully raising my eyebrows at her.

"I know, but I still feel bad."

"Caroline, would you rather he leave—"

"Of course not, but he spends way too much money on me. Especially considering the fact we're not even married, I can't help thinking this way."

"I promise you that you do," I responded, smiling at how happy all my friends were.

"What has you in such a good mood?"

"Well, it makes me glad to see everyone in a good mood. What did I do to deserve having you guys as friends?" Bonnie told everyone, her teeth showing in a glowing smiling, holding everyone's hands in her own. After all, this was one of the few nights where all the supernatural drama isn't present in my mind.

"So, what do you want to do now, ladies?" Davina asked, smiling at Bonnie and me.

"Whatever you want," Caroline told us, a smile forming on her face as well.

"What are our options?"

"There's pretty much everything," I murmured. I looked over at Bonnie and winked at her with a smile. Bonnie seemed to know that I was trying to cheer everyone up with everything going on recently, so she returned the favor, to which I just laughed; this resulted in the two other girls looking at us like we were crazy.

"Bonnie! You seem a bit spaced out, there must be a lot of stress getting to you," Davina commented, all of us smiling at the two of them.

"I can leave if you too want your privacy," I announced, smiling at my best friend before grabbing Caroline's hand and moving us to the living room.

"Actually Elena, do you think it would be best if I talked to all three of you?" Bonnie whispered as I left the room, causing Caroline to bring us back.

"I feel like you should talk to Davina first," I replied, going back to sit on the couch; I noticed that Caroline was still with Bonnie and didn't know what to do. The last thing we all wanted was for me to see my best friends hurt, but I also felt the need to respect her wishes.

I was also concerned, concerning Kol mentioned something about them going back to New Orleans soon.

"I'll do whatever you want, but let me know if you change your mind," I grinned, hugging her once more.

"Thank you! Elena, are you sure you're doing okay?" Bonnie asked, now moving to hug Davina.

"I'm doing absolutely wonderful if you want to know. Is everyone else here honestly doing okay? I feel like there's been so much going on!"

"Elena, you know we would tell you if something is wrong. I'm just glad we're all together, nothing can tear us apart! But have you heard anything about Stefan, has there been anything in the news?"

"Sweetheart, would I tell you if I heard anything about Stefan? Oh and Care, Klaus has been keeping tabs on him for me." I laughed a little, thinking about how concerned the hybrid was being about the entire situation.

"Oh, I know, he is his best friend after all! You're being oddly relaxed about the entire thing, I was starting to get considered on what turned you into a completely different person," Caroline told me, wrapping her arms around my shoulder. "You are probably the biggest supporter of our boyfriends' friendship I know."

"Caroline, I can't help myself. They practically hang out with each other as much as we do."

"You do that that I wouldn't have met Klaus, my fiancée, if it hadn't been for the Ripper rampage that your boyfriend went on, right? I think that it was probably the only good thing that came out of that entire situation."

"Care, you are right about that. We would have been completely different people if that hadn't happened," I responded, smiling at a number of double dates the four of us had gone on.

There was something about spending time with these girls that made me feel better about everything in my life, they were my partners in crime and knew me in ways no one possibly could. Being there in Caroline's embrace, I realized how lucky I was; wondering how many other people had friends they could lean on in the ways that I could.

"Now that's something you're right about now, Elena. How about we go to the Grill and get something to eat? We're all probably hungry."

"Just let me do my makeup real quick and then we can head over there, it looks like Davina and Bonnie are starving too," I told her, looking at the witches when they smiled at the mention of food.

"Looks like it. Well, what do you say we get going, girls! Bonnie, do you need anything before we get going?" Caroline said as everyone jumped off the bed.

"No, I don't, Care."

"I guess it's good to go now and we can go get fat," Caroline walked with us to the Grill, our arms looped inside each other.

"Yes it is and we get to do it together," I whispered, walking with the two of them to the restaurant. Once we got in there and were seated, I decided to look over the menu. "The spicy shrimp looks delicious."

"What are the rest of you planning on getting?" Caroline asked, looking at everyone around the table. "Davina, have you ever eaten here before?"

"No, I don't think I have. Kol has mentioned taking me here before," Davina smiled, the thought of him obviously making her happy, which made me feel warm inside as well.

"Have you guys gone on a date in Mystic Falls? What did you do? Was it romantic?"

"Yeah, it was. We went out to the lake and had dinner out on the water."

"I don't know what's cuter, you and Kol or Damon and me, D, but I would have loved to witness that. There is no way I have gone on a double date with everyone at this table, but you."

"Is that so?"

"Yep, ask these two. You're the only one left," Bonnie answered, smiling as she thought of the ones with Caroline and me. "Anyway, there's a million fancy places in Virginia we can go."

"That sounds amazing, but I know Kol wants to get back to New Orleans soon," Davina told us, a sad smile on her lips that showed she didn't want to leave.

"We should probably do it soon if that's the case."

"Sounds good."
