A/N
This is Frostbites sequel! Sorry it took so long, but enjoy!
Chapter 1
Your POV
It's been about one month since everything that's happened: Pitchs death, the Guardians, and Jack. I'm happy that Jack sees me almost every day, but not for long because he feels he has to fix everything he's done, like slacking off on keeping the Poles cold. I allow him, but I try not to nag him because I don't want to be needy.
It's close to 11 at night, and I'm getting ready for bed. I feel like it's almost daytime because the moon is so bright tonight. I turn on the sink, letting the water run. I prepare my toothbrush with toothpaste and go to put it under the water. Except, the water kept bending away from the end of the toothbrush, like that stupid science experiment using the balloons static to bend water. No matter how much I tried, I'm not quick enough! The water refuses to even touch the brush, not even a drop! I huff in frustration and I set the toothbrush down. After about 10 minutes, I decide to try again. This time it cooperates, and I continue with my chore. I toss and turn all night.
Jacks POV
This is way too funny. She didn't even find it weird?
Your POV
I wake up to a slow start. I have my last year of highschool starting today. I honestly can't wait for it to end. I brush my matted hair and brush my teeth without problems. I'm dressed nicely, and I walk outside for school saying goodbye to my parents but they ignore me. I didn't take mind to it because both their eyes were bloodshot. It looks like they stayed up all night, working or something. I walk a shorter distance to the bus stop now, because I don't have to walk up that big hill anymore. I step off the concrete but as soon as my foot hit the grass my whole foot got sucked it! It's like stepping in thicker water! I go to try and lift it up, and it comes out with ease. I get down closer and poke the grass and its dirt. It's solid. I cautiously step down again, but the ground just bends with my foot as if I were stepping on a trampoline! I gather courage and take another step. This continues till I reach the sidewalk. I'm so confused, could I be hallucinating all of this?
Jacks POV
How is she not freaking out about this? Well, she definitely will whenever I tell her.
Your POV
I'm at the bustop now, with 3 other kids. I tried to make conversation with them, but they kept ignoring me so I gave up and just stood there quietly. The bus finally arrives and the 3 kids hurry onto the bus. I'm about to step on whenever the bus driver shuts the door in my face.
"Excuse me!" I say knocking on the door. He doesn't even spare a glance at me and he starts to drive away. "Hey!" I yell after him. I'm beyond furious. Did I wake up nonexistent to everybody? I'm practically fuming as I stomp off towards my house so I can ask my parents for a ride. I'm walking past an older man who has a cigarette in his mouth about to light it. I stare at it as he flicks the lighter. Instead of a small flame, the flame grew large and tall. The man drops it and staggers back to keep a distance. Amazed, but still angry, I pay no attention to the small bonfire starting to form. I continue past him.
I make it towards my house to find no cars in the driveway. Ugh, I forgot they work from 8am-3pm today! I stomp my foot in frustration. Looks like I'm not going to make it to my first day of school today. I walk up to the front door, to find it's locked shut. I groan and look under the mat to get the spare key which is now missing. This is literally the worst day that could ever be created.
