Part Two

After weeks of you not talking to Kevin, and Reggie avoiding you, you lie once again in your room.

A couple days ago, Moose actually exploded on Reggie and beat the crap out of him. You missed school that day, but Moose came home unharmed.

But you're still healing from losing someone you thought you loved and someone who was always there for you. Other than Moose.

Your journal had finally run out of pages so you kept tabs on your notes. You always thought about Kevin and missed your guys's movie nights and gossiping about his crushes.

❝Man, do I miss you, Kev.❞ you mumbled.

You closed up the app and went to your dresser to get ready for supper. You never knew when it was ready but you can hear your brother coming up the stairs, then a light knock.

❝Dinners ready in five.❞ Moose said before closing the door again.

You put up your hair and rushed down the stairs with your phone in hand as you took your seat beside Moose and your parents later joined.

❝So, Y/N, how is school for you?❞ her dad asks.

❝Um, it's going great.❞ You lied as you took a forkful of food. ❝Not thinking of joining any extracurriculars until sophomore year.❞

Her parents nodded and smiled as Moose was looking at his phone quietly. You nudged his shoulder and yours rang.

It was a text from Kevin.

Y/N,
I'm so sorry for abandoning you that night, and I'm still so sorry for not trying to fix it right away.

You locked your phone and nearly slammed it on the table before the bell rang. You put up your hand and went to answer it. To your dread, it was Kevin.

❝I really don't want to see you.❞ you said about to close the door.

❝okay, Y/N, just hear me out.❞ he asks.

You walk outside a bit and close the door so none of your family can hear and you stay near the door.

❝I should've never left you that night. I should've been here for you because you needed me most. I realize that now.❞ he says while you scoff. ❝Y/N, I never meant to hurt you.❞

❝I'm sure you didn't.❞ you squint your eyes. ❝I'm sure you were more there for Betty when Archie broke up with her.❞

❝Y/N, don't even say that.❞ Kevin said stepping up. ❝You don't know how she felt-❞

❝I don't know how she felt?!❞ you snapped. ❝I've been in a long term relationship with Reggie and you have the nerve to say that I don't know how she felt? How low can you go for Betty? I'm still crying over Reggie and I'm still healing! You're the only person who knew what me and Reggie shared. Now I will never get it back.❞

❝I didn't mean-❞

❝it's never what you mean!❞ you say with sobs. ❝I don't care anymore. Go be there for Betty who's so hurt from Archie and I'll heal on my own! I never want to see you again!❞

You were pretty much sobbing this time as Kevin nodded and walked off quickly and you sat on your steps and let out the tears before going to face your family with a brave face.

You were going to heal on your own.

❝Dying on the inside, outside looking fearless.❞

Part two was requested so here it is! Next Kevin imagines will obviously be happier bc I love Kevin. I just feel like some people can relate to this in some way.

Anyways, going on a trip for a couple days! I will update because I know my sisters wifi password 😂
