Accidents Happen

Stiles woke up to go grab some breakfast from the local diner. Stiles was driving under the speed limit but it was too late when another car hit him for going too fast.

"Stiles please wake up you need to wake up for me" spoke a family voice.

Stiles was under a critical condition. He was in a coma and couldn't speak.

Scott held his hand tightly and put his head on his chest bursting into tears " How could I let this happen to you you don't desrve this at all it should've been me"

"Scott don't say that it's not anyone's fault" Scott's mother replied.

"But mom what if he's not okay? I'm not going to live with myself I need him in my life"

"Scott all we need to is pray it's his choice if he wants to stay or not"

"I want him to stay" He said crying in his mother's arms.

Stiles dad immediately came over and almost burst into tears seeing his son's condition.

One of the nurses came in and told everybody to leave since Stiles needed his rest.

Once morning came Scott was the first to come to the hospital

"Hey baby I'm here I'm not leaving your sight I just want you to know that I'm in love with you I've always been in love with you the day I met you Stiles and I can't wait to be married to you to get to call you my husband is my only dream and I want to that happen so please Stiles stay for me"

When Stiles heard Scott's voice he immediately woke up.

"Stiles I am so glad to see you awake"

"Wait who are you?"

"Stiles you better be joking"

"I'm not joking I don't know who you are? And how do you know me?"

"I'm your boyfriend Stiles I've been your boyfriend for 3 months now don't you remember?"

"Should I remeber? I'm sorry I don't"

The doctors came in and asked Scott to come outside " He can't remeber anything for a while all were asking for you to do is not to pressure him soon enough he should know who you are"

Scott nodded and took Stiles home driving to his house opening the door for him. His father was standing near the door hugging him as he returned

"I don't even know this guy why is he  hugging me?"

"He's your dad Stiles"

"Oh sorry I don't seem to remeber anything I know I have a house I know I uh I have some friends but I can't place any names so far I'm sorry"

"Stiles you don't have to apologize you didn't do anything wrong"

"Thanks what's your name again?"

"It's Scott"

"And you're my boyfriend?"

"You're right Stiles"

"And I have a dad?"

"Yes you do Stiles"

"What about my mother?"

"You're mother is out of the picture Stiles"

"I um need rest goodnight"

Stiles went upstairs and headed off to sleep

"What if he can't remeber Sherrif Stillinski"

"Scott we shouldn't pressure him he'll remeber eventually but now we have to wait that's the only thing we can do right now is wait and see you know I'm worried too that my son isn't going  to be the same" his father's voice cracked and he bursted into tears.

"I'm sorry I'm going to get some rest now you should get some rest Scott goodnight"

Scott went home and drifted off to sleep worrying about Stiles.
