A week after she came back, Maya got a new car from her father, he bought her the two cars of her dreams ' white Range Rover Evoque version 2.2dAT having a red and minor silver interior and A black convertable Bentley continental GT version 6.0AT having a light brown and minor white interior
,plus a huge amount of money in her bank account, being the two daughters of someone rich, popular and powerful like their dad, they got their driver's license (yeah, illegal, i know, but thats nigeria).

Today Maya and Thahani were out in the evening for shopping, Thahani wore a white and black silk patterned Kimono straight gown, then a black veil on her head going round her face, Maya wore a cream polyester straight skirt with a little slit at the back and a dark blue peplum top which has short sleeve, then a cream veil with blue stones on her head going round her face, Maya was the one driving Thahani's car,

"seriously that guy is seriously into you, atleast give him a chance" said Maya, "i don't like him Lulu, he is a talkative" said Thahani shaking her head, "you are so annoying, what's there not to love with the guy, you clocked 17 yesterday, you are in level one, you are mature for a boyfriend" said Maya as she took a turn, "you are eighteen , legally an adult, why are you single" asked Thahani, "am not mature for that" said Maya with a raised eyebrow, Thahani burst into laughter, "laugh all you can" said Maya, "no , how can an 18 year old not be mature but a 17 year old be mature" asked Thahani still chuckling, "mature doesn't go with age alone dummy, it also goes with senses" said Maya rolling her eyes, "wow so you admit u got more sense than you" asked Thahani, "shut up, just because you get to be the quiet one that doesn't make you someone superior to me in senses" said Maya a bit irritated, now parking infront of wellcare mall, "sorry" said Thahani quietly as they came out.

They were already halve way through there shopping, now in the toiletries area, "here pick this pad it's nice" said Maya pointing to a sanitary pad, "it looks posh, but no, my period only agrees with a medicated pad" said Thahani, "woow wow what's that suppose to mean" asked Maya with a raised eyebrow, Thahani was about to explain when Maya quickly said "you know what, am not going to talk about period and stuffs with you" in a dismissive tone, "Maya, Maya Rasheed" called an elder woman, Maya turned and saw Mrs Omar Ganati (Kaseem's mother),she looks pale with eye bags, "oh my God, Mama (everyone calls her)" said Maya excitedly and she went and hugged her, "it's being a long time Maya ,how are you" asked Mrs Omar with smiles after the hug, "Mama i have stayed back in London after high school and did a three year course in fashion college, then i came back" explained Maya, "that's nice, i wish you all the best" said Mrs Omar, "good evening Mama" said Thahani coming closer to them, "Good evening, you must be Thahani" said Mrs Omar with a smile, "yes Mama" said Thahani blushing, "When Maya and Kaseem were dating everyone knows about Maya and her sister in our family" said Mrs Omar, "talking about that ex, where is he" asked Maya, but to her surprise Thahani and Mrs Omar exchange a quick look and turned away, "am i missing something" she asked with a slight frown, "well Lulu Mama, may not like to talk about it" said Thahani, "talk about what" asked Maya sounding alarm,

"it's okey, you see Maya last year Kaseem was accused of murdering the former first lady of nigeria Laila Naseem Alhassan, they took him to court and he was convicted" said Mrs Omar, "what do you mean convicted, was he guilty" asked Maya in horror, "who knows, but he confessed to have slit her throat" said Mrs Omar, "and Mama couldn't you get a lawyer, i know he didn't do it" said Maya now in tears, "Maya ni Lawyer will agree to stand for him, none" said Thahani, "no way, he isn't a killer, why him" said Maya crying, "he was there before and after she died and he confessd" said Mrs Omar also in tears.

"You knew about this and you couldn't tell me" yelled Maya back at home as she enters her part with Thahani behind her, "am so sorry, i never thought its necessary seeing he is your ex" said Thahani admist to tears, "fuck that, you know he is the only guy i love till date even if he is my ex, you know that" yelled Maya, "am sorry" said Thahani now crying, "get out of my room now" she said coldly, "please Lu.... "Now Thahani get out" she yelled, Thahani burst into another cry and ran out.
