Chapter 24 Back to Nigeria

Today Maya and excited Thahani were on the royal plane flying to Kano Nigeria with the two district leaders, who are almost the age or past the age of her dad, Thahani was having great time with the two jovial leaders and some among the armed force men with them, every now and then Maya will hear Thahani's loud laughter, Maya will just shake her head and continue with whatsoever she is doing.

Erica was called to bar two months back, and after some training with daddy kabir she was now ready for Maya.

On landing in the airport,  three white Rolls Royce were parked on the runway, Maya felt a chill went down her spine as she took the steps down, midway downstairs she stopped to take in the view, it was Thahani that appeared by her side and said Momma "don't be scared i will always be by your side" , Maya looked down at her daughter and managed to smile, they went down and entered one of the rolls royce, which was headed straight to her father's well known mansion, on the way,  the Royce Maya was in one of the the Member of the sultanry switched on the t.v, and there on the news was a male reporter, "the news of the arrival of two of the sultanate members of Oman carries  another news, alighting from the plane with them is suspected to be the well known face of a murder suspect who went missing minutes before her trial for almost five years ,  (video of Maya and Thahani was shown coming downstairs from the plane), if our hunch is true then what is the Oman government  doing along side with her, if she is really the one, what made her show up after five years,  CCX NEWS AM  YENEH AGAH",

Maya shook her head with a sigh "news in Nigeria" she murmured, and there on reaching the gate of the Mansion were lots of reporters, the lots swam up the apporoaching cars, but none of the cars stopped till they reached the now open gate with armed men by the gate, the cars entered and immediately the gate closed.

Rasheed was outside already waiting for them, as they came out from the car, he opened his hands for the girl, Thahani ran to him, he picked her up hugging her, Maya just looked away and grabbed her hand bag after adjusting her viel, she walked to him, "it's a friendly weather, it's cool and warm" she said looking round, "how was your flight" he asked
    "It was owkey, my part please"
"Oh, your former wing, ofcause i added another room for this angel"
    "Them" she said motioning to the leaders and their escorts, the two leaders were already approaching them,
    "The two leaders will have a wing to themselves, and another wing for the officers"
   "Fine, then i part to rest" she said and walked towards her part pulling a trolley box.

On taking a step inside she stood still and dropped the bags on the floor, and walked further into sitting room, it's the same as it was years before she got married, it was the same, and the familiar scent of white musk and strawberry, she took in the scent an let out with a smile on her face, she begun to walk round, as she touch and pass things, as memories of her and Thahani flow in and out of her mind, she passed by her teady bear room,  which was doorless but has drapings, she walked backwards and stood by the entrance, she folded her hands and leaned a bit, their a memory of her and her sister came to her
   Thahani of 12 was in the room playing with the huge teady bears, when Maya of 13  came to pass but quickly came backwards and stopped "seriously how many times have i told you not to play with my teady bears" she asked,
   "am sorry Lulu, i love playing with them" said Thahani pouting with a sorry face,
   "I will let you play on one condition"
"Say it"
    "You will tell dad you don't want to go to Bahamas for this summer vacation, tell him you wish to go to Hawaii"
   "But but Lulu why Hawaii"
"There is a car race i want to watch in real life"
   "Oh owkey, i will tell him"
"Good, for that i will play with you" said Maya walking in, Thahani gave a shout of joy as Maya joined her.

Maya sighed at that recap and walked further, she came to a stop by the console on the corridor her two bedrooms, closet and her magnificent bathroom, on the console were there mini frames of her and Thahani, she picked the one with the golden frame, it was her of 17 years and Thahani of 16 they were in fury black and ash coats and it was snowing in the background, Thahani's hood was on her head while Maya's was off revealing her curly black hair in an alternative braid, Maya pouted while Thahani smiled at the camera, it was in Lebanon, she sighed and picked the one with the brown canvas frame, it was her of 15 and Thahani of 14, they were on an hot air ballon, with two of their guards, it was in Toronto, and was summer time, Thahani wore an orange long sleeved top and with black skinny trousers, her hair was wavy and loose, Maya wore a dark blue polo short sleeved top and black knee length skinny trousers, her hair was also wavy, , as Thahani was engrossed take pictures of the view, with the air waving their hair, Maya was the one taking the picture and was looking and smiling at the camera, then Maya picked up the one with the black frame, the two were in a sitting room in france, Thahani of 17 was seated on the rug and Maya of 18 was right behind her on the white sofa, they all were in their mini night wears, Maya was plating Thahani, and when the picture was taken the two were smiling at the camera.
