excuses, excuses, excuses

I don't appreciate people who constantly blow me off and always have some bullshit excuse to go with their big fat no answer to my question. Sometimes people seriously can't attend these things because they have sports, or family, but sometimes it's not them it's you. They'd much rather make up a lie and do that thing with someone else than you, which really leads you to the question, why are you and that person even friends?

The worst thing you can possibly do is lie to me. It's okay if you're not feeling up to it, or if you really just don't want to, you can let me down easy with just a simple no, I'll get over it, trust me. I'd much rather have you just turn me down rather than say something like "my uncle's in the hospital" or "I have a basketball tournament" and then have me see you on someone else's snapchat story while you're supposed to be doing those things that you said you would. I don't like excuses and I absolutely despise liars, so please if you're thinking about lying to me about what you're going to be doing instead of spending time with me, just don't. Just. Say. Yes or no. It's really not that difficult. Because let me let you in on a little secret; excuses are garbage and I don't accept any. I don't want to hear about how your mom won't let you or how you have to babysit or how you have plans with the captain of the football team because I frankly don't give a rat's ass what you have to or would rather do.

And some lies are so easy to see through. Yesterday I heard someone say they had no one to see a movie with. So later I text them, "Hey we should go see that movie you were talking about." and they go on about how they've been planning to see it with another person ever since it was rumored that the movie would be made which is quite convenient considering I just heard them whining about it not even a day before. "Oh I was just kidding." Really? Didn't seem like a joke to me. Even if it was you failed to mention that. And some people just don't even bother telling me they'll flake they just do, and then later tell me some bull crap excuse about how they forgot, which really is difficult to believe considering we had been talking about it not even an hour before. You say you're going to do something, well do it. And if you do back out, at least tell me.

And once again, I don't need any explanations as to why you can't or simply just don't want to. It's a yes or no question, and I want a yes or no answer. Next time you think about telling me or someone else and excuse, save it for someone who cares or will believe it for that matter.
