Don't you hate it when you're bringing up a band or a tv show actor, or celebrity that you want to introduce to your friend, and they always say "oh I know them! I love then so much!" No you don't. You do not idolize this person because I bet you three thousand dollars that your walls are not covered by their face.

Some how Fall Out Boy pops up in a lot of my conversations and my friend and I were actually discussing about how we hate when conversations go like this.

Me: Did you hear that new song by Fall Out Boy?
Person: no but I absolutely LOVE that band. Like OMG I have tickets to a concert and I'm sooooo excited to sing along to the songs!!

I bet you only know two songs by them *cough cough Light em Up and Centuries* and occasionally Immortals. Do you get where I'm coming from? Hey, there are true fans of these bands and celebrities like Green Day or Channing Tatum but let's be real guys, you can fangirl over your shit, but stay out of mine.

That brings me to the next thing. This is just a matter of opinion, but why has rock music died? I certainly would rather be listening to The Offspring or Green Day and Blink 182 blasting on B96 rather than One Direction, 5sos, and Ariana Grande. Seriously. Weigh it out. Cheesy boybands with perky music? Or serious rock bands with songs that have lyrics that A. Make sense B. Speak to an audience C. Doesn't go with a ridiculous melody like Midnight Memories or whatever. Which one would you choose?
Songs these days:

"Shake that, work that, move that yeah
She a good girl, but you know she bad though
One time, two time, she can oh yeah
She a good girl, but you know she bad though" -Cameron Dallas ladies. S.M. To the fucking H

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. Do men really portray every woman as a slut and just a sex toy? That is disgusting. If any guy is reading you better listen because i am a girl and a feminist, and that is truly disgusting.

Back on topic...
Yes, there are some good songs that are pop like Calvin Harris or Martin Garrix and their collabs with other singers and now and then a song when doesn't get played 30 times in a row on each station, I tend to enjoy it. But rock mustn't die.

Lord, don't even get me started on Taylor Swift. Blank Space and Shake it Off have been permanently burned in my mind, (along with other things I have recently experienced) and I swear that song will be serving as torture in hell. I don't hate her, I'm a huge fan, but this goes to the radio. I bet Taylor is sitting in a dark corner surrounded by her wheelbarrows of money and Grammy's rocking back and forth chanting, "make it stop, please I'll do anything just make it stop!"

Tay, I love you to pieces but your songs get overrated and instead of a death sentence Blank Space and Shake it Off are going to be used to punish the criminals. I really wish you would go back to country. Fearless was my favorite album.

Oh and Love Me Like You Do shall never be spoken of. Again. Ever.
