"Ace.." Hayden whispered, running his hand down my waist.
"Yes?" I asked, tired. I turned to him, the sheets creating a border between us.
"Do you love me?" He asked. I smiled and nodded.
"Always." He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Do you love me, too?" He stood quiet. I sat up, fixing my crop top as I did.
"I.." he trailed off.
"Do you love me?" I asked again, now eyeing him. He kept his figure. He still stood quiet. "Okay.." I whispered. I got up, put on my jeans, converse, put in my contacts, and left. He called after me, but I ignored him.
My phone buzzed in my pocket. It was Anna.
"Yes, Annabelle?" I sighed.
"Are you not gonna come with me today?" She asked.
"Where?" I asked as the elevator doors opened to the lobby.
"The meet and greet! Duh!" She squealed. I face palmed, remembering that I promised to go with my best friend.
"I- I'm sorry! I'll meet you there in 30." I said, then hung up. Hayden blew up my phone, apologizing, but it wasn't enough. I had let it slide for too long. That was the 10th time I let him stay quiet when I asked if he loved me this month. I was breaking down on the inside, but I had to hide it. My mother loved him and I couldn't ruin their relationship. She liked him, I loved him, yet I still don't know if the feelings are going to be returned. It would disappoint my mom, and I couldn't have that. I just couldn't..
Time skip to the meet and greet*
I walked in the large stadium to find large crowds everywhere. It took me 25 minutes to find Annabelle, but I did.
"Angelis!" She squealed. I glared at her, and she grew quiet. "Sorry, got excited."
"It's fine." I sighed. "Just never again!" She nodded and I began to follow her.
"He's over here!" She chirped. We waited in line for a few minutes before two girls skipped us. They began to giggle and throw us weird looks.
"Um, excuse me?" I asked, tapping the blonde ones shoulder. She turned and glared at me.
"What?" She snapped. I straighten up and put a hand on my waist.
"My problem is that you skipped us. That's what. Now move it, hon." I smiled.
"No." She snapped, then turned. Anna snarled at them, and I eyed them. I finally sighed and pulled Ana with me in front of them.
"Hey! Don't skip us!" They yelled.
"Well, you skipped us first!" I snapped back. They tried to push past us, but a guard came by and took them away. We were next. "Okayy, I forgot to ask, but who is dis?" I asked Anna.
"William Singe! He's an amazing singer and so fucking sm-"
"Oh, god!" I cringed, knowing how that sentence was gonna end. The guard called out 'next' and we both moved up. She squealed, hugged him, and made me take 15 pictures of them.
"Wow, you're so much bigger in real life!" Anna gaped whilst squeezing his muscles. He and I laughed as she looked mystified by his figure.
"I'm so sorry for my friend.. she's a fangirl." I said on her behalf.
"It's fine." He said, his accent melting my ears... No! Stop, you have a boyfriend! "Want a picture?" He asked. I shrugged. Why not? I handed Anna the camera and she took just one picture.
"You're being petty, Anna." I scolded as she handed back the phone. She shrugged innocently, making me laugh. "Thank you for the pictures." I thanked William. He smiled, grabbed my hand lightly and kissed it.
"No problem-" he paused, waiting for me to say my name. I hesitated, but finally spoke.
"Ace." I smiled.
"Ace?" He asked. "Is it an nick name?"
"Yeah. I don't really like my name, so I just used my initials to make my nickname." I explained. He nodded.
"Can I have your number?" He asked. My heart skipped a beat, and I said yes. I began to write down my number on a piece of paper and handed it to him.
"Yeah, but no funny bus-"
"Ace!" Hayden growled from behind the rope.
"H-Hayden? What the hell are you doin-" I couldn't finish my sentence, seeing as Hayden pulled me over the rope.
"Woah, woah woah!" William said, pulling my back. "Who the hell are you?" He asked, eyeing Hayden. People had phones out, most with flash. I quickly dove to hide my face.
"Her boyfriend!" He hissed. "Let's go, Ace." He said again, grabbing my arm and dragging me out of there.
"DUMP HIM ALREADY!" Anna yelled above the crowd. I glared at her, and she gave me a soft look back. He's not worthy of you! She mouthed. This was one hell of a day. Once we made it outside, Hayden pushed me against a wall, hitting my head in the process, and got close.
"What the hell was that?" He hissed.
"I was with Anna for her meet and gre-"
"Shut up!" He yelled. Did he not just asked me to explain the situation, though?
"Why the hell are you mad when I should be the one mad?!" I yelled back. He growled and balled his fists. "No! If you can't say you love me, then I can go out and take ONE picture with someone that's famous! It's not like it's anything more!"
"Just. Shut. UP!" He yelled, slapping my face. I felt myself being pulled away from him. It was Anna. She was angry, I could tell because one of her veins were showing. I had to hold her back. I pushed her back inside the building.
"Anna, its fine.." I whispered.
"NO, ITS NOT! HE JUST HIT YOU, AND HE LEFT A FUCKING BRUISE!" She yelled. My eyes widened and when I checked, she was right. Shit. William and I locked eyes as he walked towards the back of the building. He began to head this way.
"An-Anna, let's just go." I mumbled.
"NOT UNTIL I KILL HIM!" She paused and tried to escape my grasp. "NO ONE HITS MY BEST FRIEND! HES YOUR BOYFRIEND! HE CANT DO THAT!" She yelled. By the time she yelled this William stood, eyeing my with sympathetic eyes. He heard it all.
"Who?" He asked softly as he got closer. I stood quiet and kept ahold of Anna. "Who?" He asked again, his hand tracing over the bruise. I pointed to Hayden outside.
"B-But please don't do anything. It was just a one time thing. Please.." I begged. Okay.. it wasn't a one time thing, but no one needed to know. When Hayden got really angry, he would hit me, but it would all blow over the next day. And he rarely hit me, anyways. William eyed me and nodded.
"Text me when you get home, or if you need any help." He winked. He then smiled, and I returned it. My heart fluttered. I didn't know this guy, but he's already got my panties ready to drop. Yeah, I actually thought that.. god I need help.
Anna walked me to the car and we drove in a long silence. She tried to bring up the topic, but I stood quiet. I was gonna sleep at her place for a few nights until I figure things out. Hopefully, that'll be soon.
