Part 3: A Dark Castle

3rd POV: -Location Underfell Kingdom-

"Look Stretch!" Blueberry exclaimed happily to his brother, pointing to the castle that was now in view, "We are almost there!"

Stretch nodded, the two brothers were on horse back riding through the streets of Underfell, which caught the eye of anyone who happened to be out of their house. Their guard, a younger lady with long bleach blond hair and gray eyes, rode behind them silently, glaring at anyone who dared look at the prince's.

Soon they stood in front of the gate that lead up to the large dark castle. A guard walked up to them, opening the gate with only a small glance to the group. Once they passed the gate, a young boy ran up to them and quickly took away their horses once they got off the animals.

"Hello," A voice called to them, making them tear their glaze away from their horses, "You are the prince's from Underswap, yes?"

Blueberry nodded eagerly, "Yes, and who might you be?"

The man smiled at the excited prince, "I am Asgore, close friend of the King. He has asked me to show you in."

The group gave him a nod, and followed him into the castle. The interior was just as drab as the outside, the walls painted a dark black and the decor was a mix of black, gray, and a dark crimson red. There was barley any lighting, the main source of light came from the small amount that found its way in through the windows. Yet the darkness didn't seem to bother Asgore as he lead them through the halls.

"And here will be your rooms," The man said, stoping by two gray doors, "Someone will be by later to take you to the King."

Once Asgore had walked away, the prince's let their guard have the one room, choosing to share the last room. Walking in the prince's came face to face with two startled maids.

"Oh!" The older one exclaimed, glancing at them nervously, "We didn't expect you to get here so soon."

Stretch gave them a small smile, "Its alright."

The younger frowned, "Do you need another room?"

"No its quite alright," Blue replyed, "Me and my brother can share a room."

Both maids gave a small nod, and quickly left. Stretch sighed and sat down on the bed. Soon Blueberry followed his example as sat down by him.

A sharp knock echoed around the room, "The King is really to see you now." A soft voice called from the other side of the door. The brothers stood and opened the door, revealing a small male with dark brown hair and red eyes. "Are you both ready?" He asked them.

They gave him a nod, and followed him out into the dark halls once again. "So..." Stretch said, trying to start a conversation.

Glancing back, the male looked at him confused, "Is something wrong?"

Stretch shook his head, "Its just awful quite around here."

Their guide gave a small laugh, "I suppose it is, but the King isn't one for partys or anything. Before he became King it was more joyful around here, but you can't rewind time."

"I can't imagine this place being anything but dark." Blueberry muttered.

"Well, the colors haven't changed much, but you would never really notice it with all that was going on, now its really the only thing to notice." He explained.

Before the princes could say anything else, they came to a large crimson door which their guide opened slowly.

"Boss?" He asked into the mostly empty room, "The prince's from Underswap are here."

"Your late Red, I told you I wanted them here as soon as Asgore dropped them off to their room." A voice growled from the middle of the room.

The guide, Red, flinched, "I am sorry Boss..."

The voice scoffed, the King stood and they all could see his scowling face, "Leave us now, you are no longer needed."

Red nodded and scurried out, giving one last glace back into the room before the door shut. The King sighed, rolling his eyes, "Good riddance, I don't even know why I keep him around, he can't do anything right."

The two brothers stayed silent, leting the King give his small rant. Once the king was finished, he waved at them to sit down.

"So lets get started shall we?"
