Part 9: Lost And Not Found

Stretch took a deep breath to calm himself down.

Asgore just smiled at the prince. They were about the same hight, which bothered Asgore, but he was much more buff and bigger build then Stretch. Asgore, he wasn't normally a cruel man, in fact he had a son once with a lovely peasant woman. But fate was cruel.

"What do you mean?" Stretch snapped, "Where is Red?"

The large man shrugged, "Alphys found him sneaking around and told me immediately, I'm not sure what she did with him."

"Alphys?"

"The royal scientist."

"I know who she is!" Stretch sighed, this was not good. Edge was known for being heartless, and his royal scientist was known for being insane.

Asgore shrugged again, "Well thats all then, I suggest you stop trying to get close to Red, nothing good will come from it."

Stretch paused, "...Will he be alright?"

With a chuckle Asgore turned away from the prince, "Well that all depends, now doesn't it." With that, the old war general left.

The night was quite as Stretch stood there, taking in the old man's words. He was just threatened. A life was on the line. Red, the brother of the King, was in danger.

How could a kingdom be so cruel?

Stretch left the garden, slowly making his way back to his room. The halls were empty and the odd bit of moon light cast a eerie glow. The castle almost seemed as if it was haunted.

He supposed it was, just not by a ghost. It was haunted by memories, memories of a time long forgotten, a happier time.

By a time when Underfell wasn't ruled by a heartless man, but by a man who spoke in hands.

-almost ended it here XD but I suppose I owe you dudes a longer chapter-

When Stretch made it back to his room, Blueberry was sitting on the bed, staring blankly at the wall.

"Blue?"

The younger prince turned slowly to face his brother, "A boy named Frisk came while you were gone." (Now I normally picture Frisk as a girl but it fits better here as a boy)

"...And?" Stretch almost didn't want to know.

"He warned me to keep you away from Red." Stretch sighed, of course, "And he said that if we speak of this to anyone..." Blue drifted of.

Stretch gulped, Blue didn't need to finish. Why was this happening? How could Edge do this to his own brother?

"Stretch... what is going on?"

"I don't know bro, I don't know."

They fell into silence. Neither brother could fall asleep now.

Welp its still very short :l
But I figured this was a good place to end it as the next chapter will be the next day ^-^
