Part 12: I am Bad at Naming Chapters

Merry dragged Stretch and Keket down the dark hallways.

"You never told me what we are doing." Stretch complained.

Keket shrugged as Merry rolled her eyes, "That's because you don't need to know yet."

Stretch groaned, "We aren't kidnapping anyone are we?"

"Nah we aren't that close," Merry explained, "I have to know the person good if I was to take them to go kidnapping."

"Ah of course." The prince muttered.

"So this is your brilliant plan?" Stretch questioned.

Merry huffed, "Did you have a better idea?"

He just sighed and shook his head. The maid's had dragged him down to the servant's quarter, luckily not getting caught, and had instructed the prince to wait while Merry went and grabbed something, or someone. Now they sat hunched together in the small room as awkward silence enveloped them.

"Is anyone going to tell me what's going on?" Red asked as he glared holes into the concrete floor.

"Shh young grasshopper, all will be answered later." Merry replied with a large grin as she pulled Keket out of the room. The maid shut the door leaving the two males alone.

"What do we do now?" Keket asked as she looked down the long hall that lead into the darkness of the castle.

Merry shrugged, "We wait."

Keket sighed and slumped against the door, "Fun." She muttered sarcastically.

"So what do you need to ask me?" Mettaton asked sitting down on one of her wooden chairs.

Edge sat down across from her with a sigh, "You know my brother right?"

Mettaton scoffed, "Of course I do, do you think I'm a idiot?"

He rolled his eyes, "Well currently the two prince's from Underswap-"

"Underswap? I heard they are a wonderful, happy little bunch!"

"And they keep asking about Red, and the older one, Stretch I think, keeps hanging out with him." Edge muttered ignoring Mettaton's comment.

"So?" She asked annoyed.

"Well apparently Frisk, that kid that Alphys took in, said something to Blueberry, the younger prince, and well... somehow I know it was about Red."

"Is that a problem?"

"I'm not sure..."

Mettaton rolled her eyes, "So what's wrong then?"

"When Blue was about to tell me what Frisk said, Asgore showed up..." Edge sighed, "Normally that wouldn't bother me, but he seemed to send a warning to Blue, as if he didn't want me to know what Frisk said. After Asgore left, Blue seemed afraid and quickly ran off."

"Hmm, I see, so are you considered that he fears you?"

Edge gave her a dumbfounded look, "What?"

"Well you obviously like this 'Blue' fellow." Mettaton replied with a shrug.

"I do not! I'm worried that Asgore is hiding something from me."

"Uh huh, sure."

"I'm serious!"

Mettaton rolled her eyes, "Fine, so you're just worried about if Asgore is hiding something from you, this Blue fellow must know and you suspect it's about Red." Edge nods, "Well then go ask Red."

Edge stares at Mettaton like she's insane, "I can't just go ask Red!"

"Why not? You two used to be really close."

"...You've probably heard how I treat him."

She sighs, "I have, Edge, it's not too late to fix things."

"Who said I want to fix things?"

Mettaton glared at him, "Honey, I know you, despite how things have been you care for that bone head. I don't care what people say about you, you aren't heartless, and you definitely aren't an idiot so I'm sure you can figure out what you need to without me."

"...Thanks."
