Part 6: A Plan

3rd POV: ~location Underfell Kingdom~

Edge sighed in irritation. He knew those two princes wanted something from him, after all who in their right mind would try to win his heart? He wasn't known to be heartless for no reason. Looking back, he knew he made many mistakes, but could you really blame him? Underfell was a large and violent Kingdom, you can't rule it with your heart on your sleeve, you would get crushed immediately.

Just like Red.

The thought of his elder brother almost made him want to laugh. Back when they were both young and innocent, he looked up to his bother, he wanted to be just like him. But the weight of royalty crushed him. It broke both of them. Edge learned quickly that love is a burden, so he got rid of everything that made him weak. Sure for a while he let his brother rule with him, but that was before everything came down on him. His brother made him weak. His brother's love made him weak, made him vulnerable. And a King can't have that weakness.

After all, thats what ended his father.

"Sir are you alright?" Alphys called, poking her head into Edge's room.

Edge glanced over at the blond haired scientist, shaking himself out of his thoughts, "I am fine Alphys, just thinking."

She nodded slightly, "Alright your Majesty, if you say so, I just came to inform you that the guests seem to be asking around about Red."

"They have?" Edge questioned, a vile girn forming on his face.

Alphys nodded again, watching her close friend with a slight worry, "What do you wish to do?"

Edge looked away from the scientist for a minute, when he looked back at her his eyes held a glint of mischief and a dash of pure insanity, "Let them ask, let them get close to those idiots."

This seemed to startle the blond, it was not everyday that the King let someone just ask. After all curiosity got you killed, especially in Underfell, where the truths were worse then the lies.

Alphys bowed, "Alright your Majesty, I shall inform the guards not to interfere." With that she was gone, leaving the King to think once again.

The princes had no idea what was coming.

So I had this writen before but then my app I have this wattpad through started hating mee so now that I got it working again I figured I would post this short chapter for ya guys

(Oh and I will let you all in on a little secret....

I have no idea what Edge is going to do to them...
