This seems like an excuse but I have my reasons for writing short chapters. I'm updating so often with short chapters because I'm working on a huge chapter. Hang in there guys ❤

Eren had originally grown up in the city of Rose, living as a happy child. Happy family, happy kid.
He'd come home from his first day of 3rd grade to find his parents ready to leave, fancy business clothing on, keys in hand. They had gotten new jobs, which came with new responsibilities. Eren was never told what these jobs were, and he never found out. Left with babysitters everyday for years, Eren grew up with no one but himself, his few friends & his imagination. It was at times like those that his imagination was a benefit. He'd always made it on his own and remained optimistic & vibrant. It provided him with entertainment and happiness when his family couldn't; but it was at times like these that his imagination overrun the positive & ruled with negative.
While Eren struggled, unknowingly, Levi lived a normal life. Growing up around so many kids gave him the opportunity to make friends, it was easy for him. His parents were always there, well his mom was. Their dad was long gone, probably for the best. He pushed that aside and lived as any other kid would. Except he wasn't like any other kid. He had always been quiet, but not shy. He just didn't talk unless he had something to say. He didn't socialize unless he really had a reason. Otherwise he was happy with staying in his room for hours. He was never one for going to the park or as he grew up, going to the mall.
Levi grew up as a strong & stoic young man. Incredibly handsome, talented, intelligent.
Eren grew up a happy & vibrant young man. Incredibly optimistic, talented, unaware.
