Eren had just gotten home from school, immediately heading up to his room despite the empty house. Usually he'd hang out in different rooms, but today he didnt want to risk anyone knowing he was home. Especially Levi.
At this point he didnt bother avoiding his friends anymore, they just stopped asking if he was okay, or why he looked so tired. Just as he'd thought they would. Even Armin stopped looking out for him it seemed, he must admit that one hurt the most. Levi's friends were there occasionally, but that was just awkward considering they barely knew each other. I guess they could become friends, but Eren was quiet these days. With exams rapidly approaching, he found himself overwhelmed. Studying, school, home. It all just seemed to be too much.
Thinking about all of this, he reached the top of the stairs and entered his dark room, dropping his backpack and collapsing on his bed. He lay there for a few minutes observing the posters on his wall for the millionth time before something out of the ordinary happened.
Click. Footsteps.
Was he imagining it, or are his parents home? Quickly sitting up, Eren called out for them. "Mom? Dad? Are you guys downstairs?" Brows furrowed, he walked to his door before exiting. He slowly walked downstairs, confused as to why they hadn't answered him yet.
"Hello?" He called out one last time.Reaching the bottom of the stairs, he looked around, only to find a stranger sitting patiently on his couch. The woman wore a pant suit, clean and sophisticated. The light grey pants and jacket contrasted with her red lipstick, pale skin and black hair.
"Hello, Eren. I know you may be surprised by my timing. Your parents aren't here, but I'm sure you'd like to hear what I have to say."
"Who are you?" Eren asked, confused, angry, and disappointed.
"I'm the woman who's going to save you."

"Hanji, slow the fuck down." Levi spoke over the small group walking to the nearby cafe as he silently cursed his short legs.
"Sorry, sorry. I'm just excited! They haven't been open, and now I can get my usual again."
"Sure, like you need any more energy."
"We can't all be grumpy like you mr grumpy grump pants!"
"That made absolutely no sense, Hanji." Levi sighed. It was around that time it started getting cold again, and he hated it. I mean, who likes it? It's freezing, rainy, foggy, cloudy, cold, cold, and cold. Maybe it was just him though, because everyone seemed to love watching the snow, the few things he did enjoy though are the warm tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The only reason he agree to attend this trip to their local coffee shop. Usually Erwin could calm Hanji down, but there was no stopping her on her way to caffeine.
They walked in and Levi sighed in content at the warm air. Hanji quickly sat herself at a table, already eager to order, Erwin followed after her, but stopped when he noticed Levi standing still.
"Levi, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm alright. Something just feels..off. I don't know, maybe it's just me." Levi grinned the bottom of his coat as he spoke, trying to keep as much warmth as possible.
"Maybe some tea will loosen you up, right? Let's go order." Erwin gestured for Levi to follow him, and he did. They passed several tables, scattered conveniently around the small building. It was a very warm and welcoming place, bathrooms in the back, a small counter in the front, and the theme being different shades of brown, like coffee. Since Hanji has already ordered, the waitress came back to take Erwin and Levi's orders. Erwin ordered black coffee while Levi mumbled about an earl grey tea From beneath his scarf. It seemed extra cold today.
"So...you guys excited from finals?" Hanji squealed, swirling around Ber drink. She may seem crazy and loud, but when school was involved Hanji was not playing around.
"Ecstatic." Levi said sarcastically.
"Aw c'mon Levi, when exams are over we'll be free. After this its college for us. We still have a couple months though." Erwin tried to cheer Levi up everyday with the whole its-almost-o er-so-dont-give-up-now speech, it never works.
Hanji spoke this time, "He is right though, when exams are finished we go to college. Where we can start doing what we really love."
Levi stopped sipping at his tea. "True. But aren't you going to miss Sina? I mean, I grew up with you guys here. With that being said I don't know about you, but I'm pretty attached to this place."
"You have to move on Levi. You can't stay in this city forever. Explore the world, see new things, meet new people. Get out there Levi!" Hanji said, determined.
"I don't like people."

"Get in the car."
"What?" The woman in Eren's house had asked to speak with him outside. When he asked her why, she said not to ever question her. So obviously they were off to a great start. Sitting on the bench outside, she wanted him to get in her car? Hell no."You speak English, get in the car."
"I don't even know you, why would I get in the car with you?"
"Why? Because I'm taking you to your parents." Eren looked at her, searching for any sign that she was lying. It seemed she was telling the truth. Eren sighed, walked up to her.
"Good choice, let's go."

Yup, that's me. You're probably wondering how exactly I ended up in this situation.
Well, I haven't seem my parents in months. They haven't called, texted. All they did was send money. I mean, they aren't my favorite people don't get me wrong, but its kinda hard going weeks without talking to the woman who gave birth to you. Therefore, here I am. In the car with a stranger I found in my house without me letting her in, and don't think I missed the gun held at her side.At this point she could be driving me to my death and I can complain because I willingly got into her car. The slick black sports car that scared the shit out of me when it started up. If it weren't for the dark tint on the windows I'd be hiding my face. This thing attracts way too much attention.
Just as they drove up to a large building, Eren started to pay attention to his surroundings. The place was at least 30 stories, the black building standing tall and intimidating. Well, if he wanted to see his parents I guess it was now or never.
