  Today was Sunday. Levi was taking me to the beach today.

We'd already been in the car for 30 minutes. He bring Hanji along, and I bring Armin. We decided this would make it less awkward. It was the silent agreement that we shouldn't make thing weird between us. Hanji and I were both in the back, since Levi wouldn't let us get his front seat dirty.

  Alas, we arrived at the beach. The sun was starting to set, just as it was last night. Hanji immediately jumped out of the car. "OMG YAYYYY WE'RE HERE! FINALLY I CAN GET OUT OF THAT DAMN CAR."

Levi just shook his head and stepped out. Eren soon followed and they walked toward the sand. Eren eyes were glued to the water. It wasn't just the ocean. It wasn't just water. It was connecting him to his hopes and dreams. Connection him to the continents he wanted to visit, the memories he wanted to make. After so long, he'd been stuck. He'd always been stuck to the one place he couldn't feel sane. Now, looking out into the water, he realized that this was his hopes, this water was his dreams.

   He'd never felt safe, but standing here connected to something he'd only dreamt about gave him hope that one day he'd be happy. Hope that he'd live a life that he wouldn't regret. He didn't want to exist, he wanted to live.

Not walk, soar.

Not realize, feel.

Not experience, make memories.

Not succeed, thrive.
