Tahlia

I have been awoken thanks to the sun. Time to start this day's chapter. My mind is clean and clear but void with nothing to do. So I set to progress plan B.

Once I've finished my routine and do whatever what I needed to do, I headed downstairs to prepare myself breakfast.

When I reached the bottom of the stairs, I was flustered when I didn't see a single human walking around doing something. This is what I needed.

Occupying time instead of doing nothing.

I found the newspaper lying in front of the doorstep so I picked it up. I laid on the couch while flipping the pages till I made it to the job section.

Surprisingly I found many job applicants. I was excited. I skimmed through and found the one that suits me. Office working.

Ha! Funny right? Just $1,000 a month. Yup! I'm going to apply! Such a happy day for me indeed.

Along came Jaclyn who's walking down the stairs. She was still in her pjs. She looked haggard and I laughed at her.

"Yah! You know the rules! Newpaper belongs to me every morning!" She barked the first statement of the morning.

How I love her. I love everyone except for some people. Move on Tahlia. Ha!

"Rarely I see you read them." I remark playfully.

"Whatever. What are you doing anyway? I rarely see you wake up this early. What's your intention? Shooting a tree?" She chuckled in humour.

I shook my head, "Nope. I'm going to find a job and earn my own money. I should make my resume now!" I yipped with joy.

She looked at me like she just saw a ghost. I raised a questioning eyebrow at her. A sinister grin crept to my features.

"Oh my god! Are you possessed?! In the name of the Lord, leave this girl's body now, you demon!" She starts to pray at me.

I smacked my head, "Ayye... you're so... weird Jaclyn. I'm serious. Eventhough we have male housemates, we can't somehow use their money. Eventhough I have billions in my safe, I want to add more in case I want to travel alone." I told.

She walked the last few steps and approached me, "Don't talk about travelling alone. I do agree about you getting your own money. I thought you're angry about... last night." She muttered.

My mind starts to rage but my voice came out different.

"Psh! I don't even know who the hell I'm crying for. Psh. It's not like he's my boyfriend or anything. It's the positive Teresa now. Anyway, I want to make my resume. Tata." I smiled and happily skipped to upstairs.

Once I reached my room with the newspaper, I reached for my laptop and start to write my resume. I mean, I do still keep my diploma of Camberwell College of Arts. It will be a good use.

When I turned on my laptop, if I'm not mistaken, I didn't see any skype notifications. I laughed again, what is wrong with me? I hope he understands the word 'normal'.

I sent my e-mail towards the superior who stated in the newspaper that he needs to find someone to fill the spot. Hope he replies soon.

With that, I closed my laptop again and sighed contentedly. Jackson. Why do I have to feel a pull towards him after Ravi?

"Dear universe... am I bonkers?" I asked myself.

Leo took out his laptop and he sat on his bed beside Diana who's just admiring anything in his room. He sat in a criss-cross position with his laptop placed in front of the both of them.
