Ashley was barely a teen when he first found out he was a mutant. Everywhere he went, people would shun him, bully him, and make his life a living hell. The series of unfortunate events don't stop there either.
Unable to take it anymore, he ran awa...
"Hey Ash! Ready to get our Maths results?" My best friend called out to me in the hallway.
"You bet I am. Hoping I get another 'A'."
My best friend Sammi and I made our way to Maths class together. We had been friends since 2nd grade and we always made a point to study together in the library after school. She was always there for me like how I was there for her. It's funny how people thought we were a couple, when we were not.
Sammi was a bubbly young girl and loved animals as much as me. Her wavy brown hair had always been kept long and free for as long as I could remember. Her eyes were as green as leaves in summer. She was beautiful, true, but I could never fall in love with my best friend.
Sammi was as cheery as usual, skipping as we headed to class. It's a mystery as to where she got her energy from. Maybe she sucked energy from other people's boredom in every class. We'll never know.
We sat at our assigned seats upon entering and waited eagerly for our results. We had always been known to get straight A's for our tests. Hopefully we kept this up till our upcoming exams.
However, what I didn't know was that those results would bring forth a chain of unfortunate events.
