Groaning, I buried my head into Julian's chest, more specifically, his grey hoodie that hung off him due to his lankiness. I looked up, his head was propped up against the headboard of his bed. "For the tenth time, yes I can go through with the plan, no I don't nor will I ever have feelings for Grayson."
Julian raised a naturally messy arched eyebrow at me as though in disbelief "I mean he's hot, everyone knows that." He nodded in agreement.
"That boy has got an ass, I'll give him that" I laughed, neither of us denying it.
Julian had picked me up from school today, which hadn't been so bad. Isabel had been right, Chloe had given in and was soon enough talking to me again, though as always, I couldn't tell if she was being genuine or an all over sarcastic-bitch.
If I had to question it at all, I'm guessing the latter.
"So what is the plan Miss Ainsworth?" Julian asked, his floppy dark brown hair falling over his forehead, leaving his left chocolate brown eye in shade.
"Well Mr. Hastings, that's for me to know and you to find out soon enough." I winked playfully as I reached and pushed the hair back out of his eyes so I could properly see his face.
"Oh come on, I'm your best friend, I think I deserve to know."
"oh Jules, but what mystery would there be to me if I let you know everything" Smirking, I watched as his eyebrows knitted together and his mouth turned into a frown.
He rolled his eyes "you've got plenty of character Violet, god don't add mystery to the list of things you are."
Before I got a chance to think of a witty reply, my phone pinged.
Grayson: Well Violet, you haven't seen me for almost a whole 24 hours and I'm afraid you may just miss me slightly too much. Be ready for seven, wear something nice, we're getting food.
I quickly typed back and heard Julian mutter something about the shortness of my attention span.
Me: Well, you're clearly thinking about me, maybe you miss me. Like a date hmmm?;)
Instantly, he replied.
Grayson: Whoops, heads getting too big for your body. A date? With you? Ew.
Me: Speak for yourself Ledger. Okayyy, see you at seven for our NON-DATE!
I flicked off my phone and looked up, Julian was so clearly reading my messages over my shoulder, but I didn't care.
"You're such a flirt."

After at least fifteen minutes of trying to convince my mother of letting me go 'study' with Grayson, who I may have said attended my new school so not to raise suspicion. Of course, she had wondered why I was dressed so nice and used the 'you're grounded' line six times and counting, but after making her believe that he was going to teach me calculus and I just wanted to feel pretty, she hesitantly agreed.
Dad as usual, was working late, which I was selfishly thankful for since there was no way in hell I'd be going out right now if he was home. Dad was always the strict one, for instance he tried to ban me from seeing Jules earlier on this week. Whereas Mom is easier to get around, letting Julian come over despite what my father says. I honestly believe she'd miss him too much.
Stepping out onto the porch and shutting the door behind me, I saw Grayson, dressed in a white v-neck tight shirt and black skinny jeans, leaning against his jeep. "Well don't you take your time." He remarked as I got closer to the jeep, he opened the door for me and I got in, making a playful comment about what a gentleman he was, and which was out of character.
