                                                        3 days

"I literally cannot believe it's only Tuesday?!" Isabel groaned, picking at her pasta and occasionally flicking the shorter, choppy front pieces of her hair, out of her face. "school drags on!"

"Well, Chloe's melodramatic, drama queen self hasn't made it easy on us." I rolled my eyes, allowing myself to remember the amount of times she'd caused drama in the last week.

My phone buzzed and revealed a picture I had previously snapped of Gray.

"Will I ever get through one school day without your annoying ass butting in?" I  grinned to myself awaiting his reply, knowing he  was never one to pass up playfulness.

"Actually Ultaviolet, I've been told my ass is actually quite perky" He remarked.

I giggled quietly. "What's up?"

"I'm outside." He told  me.

I shook my head no. "Gray because of you I've cut like almost everyday for the past month. I can't miss more school. Sorry."

"Wrong answer. Looks like I'll have to come in and get y-..." He stopped abruptly. "Scrap that, Kyle McCall has entered the building" I could practically hear his humorous smirk.

"Is he insane?! If he gets caught - I see him..."I hung up, diverting my scowl to Isabel.

"Ditching me again?" She pouted.

I actually was starting to feel bad. Isabel had ditched all her previous friends - worse, become enemies with them - to stick by my side. And to repay her? I left her alone at school more often than should be acceptable.

"These guys can't take no for an answer."  I rolled my eyes.

Looking around, the majority of the cafeterias' were on Kyle, but the buzz of conversation continued.

"Well, isn't he eye candy." Isabel hurried her sentence, throwing a sneaky glance in my direction as Kyle swung a seat to the table and sat on it backward, resting his arms and chin on the top of the back rest.

"You're not supposed to be here, you can get in serious trouble." I realized I sounded like a boffin, but I couldn't risk anymore trouble coming my way.

Kyle shrugged, which seemed to send Isabel swooning. as she gave him a dreamy look, her chin wresting on her hand. Mhm, EVERYONE loves a bad boy.

"Care to introduce me to your friend?" Kyle plumped his perfectly sculptured lips and turned his emerald green eyes to me, then to Isabel.

"Kyle, Isabel. Izzie, Kyle" She smiled shyly at him, the chatty girl I'd come to know suddenly lost for words.

"So tell me Isabel, how does one look as gorgeous as you and not have guys rushing to sit with you?" He chanced, smirking and ruffling his light brown floppy hair.

I stood up, grabbing Kyle's arm and pulling him up as I slung my bag over my other shoulder. "Oh get over yourself McCall, stop using your cringe pick up lines on my friend!"

I waved goodbye, dragging him as he stumbled backward. "I shall seek your number  from our mutual friend here!" He yelled.

"No" I said. "you won't... And stop talking like that!"

When we reached Grayson's jeep, the whole gang was out front.

"Took you's long enough" Grayson lightheartedly snarked from the inside of the vehicle.

"Kyle was hitting on Isabel." I informed them. Mutters of 'of course he was' sounded.

Getting closer to the jeep, it became apparent that we wouldn't all fit in the car, to which Grayson informed me; "There's plenty of room in the boot, I set out pillows in there for you and Max." I scowled, glad that at least it was roomy and there was nothing blocking us out, we could climb  into the back over the seats if we really wanted.
