Holding my head high after last nights events, I strutted confidently down the hall and gathered my books for next period from my locker.
Grayson and I had sorted things. luckily, he'd taken everything well and understood that it was on Will's half not mine.
Today however, would not be so easy. Chloe and her clique of brats were not as understanding as my loving, yet usually incredibly unreasonable boyfriend. In all honesty, i'd be lucky if I made it out of today alive, Chloe had promised to get back at me and she really was cat like; watching her prey and ready to pounce, all I had to do was not slip up.
Upon entering my physics class entirely on time, those already seated still turned their heads in my direction. Internally, I groaned. Will was one of those people, and unfortunately for me, beside him was my assigned seat.
The moment I sat, words flew out of his mouth quick. "Finally, you answered like none of my texts or calls."
"Chloe seeing my name appearing on your phone is the last thing I need." I muttered and Will nodded, mumbling an agreement.
"But I had to apologize - not for kissing you. For causing problems with Chloe and Grayson, he seemed...mad." He said, his words flying at me a hundred miles an hour, like he was in a hurry to say everything he needed too.
"Mad would be an understatement." I frowned. "You're welcome by the way, he had half a mind to throw a few punches."
Will scoffed. "wouldn't be the first time."
I turned my body to face him. "and yet neither time was him starting it. Don't make him out to be the bad guy because he's not." I was getting undeniably angrier each passing moment, perhaps because Will wasn't as great a guy as he made out and Grayson wasn't as bad a guy as he made out.
"Maybe he's not the bad guy." Will shrugged, though his face told me he didn't believe his statement for even a second. "All I know is Chloe and I were great and I wasn't getting into fights until you came along."
Antagonized by his finger pointing, I rose my voice, jabbing his chest with my index finger " It is not my fault you can't stay faithful to your girlfriend!"
The class gasped.
Will scowled like he was labeling me the most hated person in the room. He picked up his books and left the room, the teacher yelling after him. She turned her irritability toward me, again, I was being blamed as the culprit.
I definitely hate Ryan High.

An hour later, Will had found me by my locker. Apologizing once again. I accepted; purely because being okay with Will meant Grayson wouldn't feel obliged to start a fight with him.
We sat opposite one another in the cafeteria, albeit, it probably wasn't helping our case with the hall crowded for lunch. Chloe, Seth, Anna, Isabel and Casey sat at their usual table, far from the one we had picked.
"How are things with you and Chloe?" I asked, still infuriated with our spat earlier, but having to push it to aside, the less enemies the better.
"We're still together if that's what you're asking." He clasped his hands together in front of him, leaning forward on the table to keep our conversation quiet and private. "I have a lot of grovelling to do."
"Do you even want to be with her?" I held annoyance in my voice, I heard it myself. She didn't deserve a guy like Will. I got the feeling he didn't make a habit of kissing girls whom aren't his girlfriend.
