Scarlet couldn't believe her ears. Her great uncle was kicking her out of the house!
"Ed, let's talk about this!" pleaded Anne.
"There's nothing to talk about! If she wants to disrespect me underneath my roof, then she doesn't get to live under it!" Ed snapped.
"But," Anne croaked "she's your great niece..."
"And I'm her authority." his voice was slightly gentler now "my decision is final."Ed stormed out of the room. "I'm so sorry, Anne. I didn't mean to make him upset! I just... I-I..." Scarlet's voice trailed off. "Yes, yes it's alright." Anne was secretly convincing herself more than Scarlet. "So what's going to happen?" She asked. "I'm sorry, dear," Anne says "You have to go." Scarlet wouldn't have any of it, "Not now! I just found all three! I can't go back! Anne, help me figure out what I'm supposed to do with them..." Anne wanted to so badly, but she knew she couldn't go against her husband again, "Perhaps there's something for you at home." She rubbed Scarlet's shoulders before heading to her bedroom. "B-But I just got back..."
So Scarlet was left all alone with only her thoughts in the empty kitchen. There was something bigger than her going on, but she had no idea. And neither did her great aunt or unle. She would need all three of the Precious Stone to beat this one.

"Now boarding Flight 23-16. 3 p.m. departure to New York." Scarlet sighed and handed the Flight Attendant her ticket. It was hard to believe that just a few weeks ago she'd dreaded coming here and now she didnt want to go. She wasn't ready to go. Her job wasn't finished yet. But she didnt know that, so she'd given up hope. Scarlet took her seat and looked out her window, "Goodbye," she whispered. She didnt know who or what she said it to, but she felt like it needed to be said.
The plane was about to take off when she felt like she saw Lucas. She did a double take, only this time, she did see Lucas. He was trying to get her attention. She took it as a sign, she needed to stay. But she needed to get off the plane first. The sign blinked and the attendants told everyone to fasten their seat belts. "Wait, I need to get off!"
Scarlet grabbed her bags and rushed to the emergency exit. "Miss, we're going to have to ask you to take your seat." She ignored her and opened it. Uneasiness spread across the rest of the passengers, for the plane was still driving. Scarlet waited for a clearing, but the attendants were trying to get her back inside. She jumped and she heard the door close behind her.
She rushed to Lucas, and when she reached him they embraced each other. "Scarlet, you're so stupid! You just jumped off a plane!" She didnt care, "I know that I need to do something, I need to stay. You came for me." Lucas shrugged, "I didn't get to say goodbye." Scarlet rolled her eyes and kissed him.
"There they are!" They heard behind them. "Is that Security or the bad guys?" whispered Scarlet. "Either way, we'd better run." And that's what they did. They bolted out the air port and back to the farm, avoiding Ed and Anne. They entered the horse stables.
"So what do we do?" asked Lucas.
"Lucas, I don't know." Scarlet replied "I don't know how I'm supposed to protect this farm if I'm not supposed to be here. I don't know when those guys will find me. I dont know what im supposed to do with these gems! I don't know anything!"
"W-Well you do know one thing."
"What Lucas!?"
"Those guys found you."A.N/ I know it's a late update, but I've had a crazy day today. Hope you guys like this story. I had a little wipers block, but I think I've got am idea lol. Please comment and vote!
