Ashley cringed as yet another smooth whistle made itself audible as she exited the park. Glancing over her shoulder, she felt like her worst nightmare had come true; the three men were still trailing after her. There was just so much she could take, which is why after talking a few shaky steps out of the park down another road, Ashley finally spun around to face the three strangers.
"Can you not follow me?" she almost yelled. The horrible past few hours she had had were finally catching up with her and she found herself incapable of holding in her frustration any longer. Ashley came to face with three teenagers, who looked like they were almost out of their teens. She was started on realizing that the three delinquents were just a few feet away from her. Slowly, she inched her way back as she tried to block out the sound of their laughter, which managed to greatly creep her out. Yes they were younger to her but that didn't make them seem any less repelling. Also, they were clearly drunk.
"Why, hon?" the one with a scruffy blonde hairdo questioned.
"It's hard not to follow you, since everything about you seems so . . . appealing," the second young tramp said as his eyes lingered on her bare legs before they met her eyes. He smirked at her.
"I wonder what would be the name of a beautiful thing like you," the last one said, reaching towards her.
Ashley slapped his hand away. "Stay the fuck away, will you?"
"No," he stuttered, a cheeky grin filling his face. "I—" he began, but stopped as soon as a silver Porsche screeched to a halt right next to where the four of them were standing. "That car is sexy too," he said instead. "Not as much as you though."
Ashley's gaze was glued to the three young adults in front of her. She was too terrified to look away, fearing what they were capable of doing in the split second of distraction. That's exactly why she didn't notice the person getting out of the car.
The door of the car banged shut, startling Ashley and causing her to glance in the direction the sound came from. She was surprised, yet relieved, to see Zac.
"Zac?" she murmured weakly. "What are you doing here?"
"Hey, you're Zac Bradford, the NBA superstar," the blond ruffian said, his mouth hanging slightly open.
Zac glared at him in an intimidating manner, making the blond take a fearful step back.
"We were just leaving," the blond muttered, throwing a glance at his two friends before taking a couple more steps back. Funnily enough, both of his accomplices were rooted to the ground; that's how surprised they were at the sight of Zac. "James, Elliot!" the blond exclaimed. "Let's move." He seemed to have sobered down enough to realize if they didn't move, they were going to have their asses beaten up.
James' eyes weren't lingering on Ashley anymore. Instead, he was now gazing at Zac's car. "Nice ride, mate," he slurred. "What do you think, Chuck?" he asked the blond.
"Leave. Now," Zac growled.
"Can I have an autograph at least?" Elliot questioned, his voice full of awe.
Zac saw red. He was anyway beyond pissed at Elliot because he had the nerve to reach out towards Ashley, against her will, and then stay to ask for Zac's autograph. "No. You'll definitely get some ass whooping though, if you don't go the fuck away in the count of three," he threatened. "One . . ."
