*Center of the town*

When they finished, the crowd erupted into loud cheers but I was kinda sad it was over. I was having fun. I’ve never feel this foreign kind of feeling before.

“Hopefully that will get us at least a few new pupils at the dojo” said Hyori.

“Wait, you guys are coach there?” I asked excitedly.

The tall glamorous one laughed lightly, “Not at all. We’re just enthusiastic students.” and continued “You should totally come to a class with us though! We could probably get you in for free to test it out”

I replied “Wait, you have yoga at the dojo?” then she continued again “Yeah, the head coach teaches it and Tao will occasionally sub.” she then fangirled after mentioning Tao’s name.

Then Hyori interrupts “Occasionally, we’ll do a lesson in tai chi too. I take both MMA and yoga there. It’s nice to have both.”

“Hmmm.. I’ll think it off” I considered their offer. I really hadn’t enjoyed yoga in the park but maybe it was setting more than the activity itself.

“I don’t know if I can....” I said.

“Its okay if you want to think about it. Here, give me your phone for a sec, I’ll program the info in.” said Hyori.

“I guess that could be fun.“ I thought.

“That way, you can decide later.” she continued then returning back my phone.

I complied, unsure of what to think of these two girls and their seemingly easy friendship.

Suddey, a sharp whistling sound cut through the air.

“Watch out!” I heard some stranger shouted at me. He then caught the hammer with his hand right before it hit me.

“Are you alright up there?” he asked.

By the time I figured out that Tao had leapt into the air and caught the flying weapon. He was already on the ground and looking up at us with concern.

“Us? What about you? Is your hand okay?” I panicked.

He smiled warmly and gave a small laugh. “I’ve caught worse thing that were thrown harder” he replied.

“Like my heart..” I said in my head. Blushing, I shrug the thought off me.

He then continued, “Anything to protect my students and their friend, right?”

“Smooth, very smooth coach hahaha you better get back to the demo. Make people forget that they saw one of us chuck a weapon at a spectator” said Hyori ruining the mood.

”Nothing like a challenge” Tao replied.
For a moment it almost looked like he was going to wink at me. Instead he bowed and darted back to the demonstration.

The rest of the show went off without a hitch and I was impressed by Tao’s moves.

Hyori suddenly remembered where they are going next, “ We’ve got to head to practice now, but it was nice meeting you!”

“Nice meeting you too!” I waved as I watched them hop off the wall then hurry to pick up the demo area. They seemed so...

happy

Then this thought cross my head. Who knows, maybe martial arts could be my next thing. Shrugging to myself, I slid down the wall and went back to walking. I was fairly certain there was a community board close by. I could find other clubs to join up. It was daunting trying to work up from square one, but I wasn’t like I had anything else to do.
