Chapter 4

*Park*

I sat on my mat, looking at all the ladies in the tree pose around me. It had been a couple days since my last day on the town. My mom had goaded me into trying some park yoga class.

It definitely wasn’t my thing.

No matter what I did, I couldn’t get my mind to stop racing. The smell of the grass remind me of the field, and my balance was still recovering.

Sighing, I rolled up my mat, gave the ladies around me a nod and left. That was a giant waste of time I would say. But that implies that I actually had something else of value I could have done instead.

Now with a bunch of time to kill, I tried to figure out what could I do.

I guess I was thirsty?

Maybe it was time to finally visit that cafe with the “taller than tower” owner again.

*Chanyeol’s cafe*

I entered and sure enough, the man was there, joking around with several customers. Once more, I was impressed by how massive he was.

He must be strong as an ox....

An ox that made coffee for a living. I giggled at that thought.

As he finised with the customers, then beamed when he saw me. I was almost taken aback by the welcoming expression. Did he remember me?

“So, what did you think of the drink?” he asked.

“You weren’t kidding about the memory thing, huh?” I let out a small giggle.

”I never kid” he replied.

I gave him a skeptical half-glare, which just caused him to laugh uproariously.

“Oh man, you should be careful, that look is practically a lethal weapon.”

I felt my lip curl into my own tiniest smile.

He gave a smile and said “Well, what do you know. Maybe little Miss Serious isn’t so serious all the time.”

“I have my reasons” I replied.

“I’m sure you do. But I know just the thing to keep that smile on your face” he said with the sweetest smile.

I tried to have a comeback and said “Is it world peace? I bet it’s world peace” sarcastically.

“Even better than world peace, maybe even galactic peace!” he said back.

“Then don’t leave me waiting. Lay it on me.”

He then set three cup in front me.

“Very well. I have been working on three different and completely new drinks, never known to man. I’m looking for people to test them. Are you in?”

I tried the one that he named “Ultimate Paradise Cloud”

“You won’t be disappointed!” he said to me.

Feeling comfortable, I took a sip. Unsurprisingly, it was amazing.

Chanyeol saw my nod of affirmation and let out a whoop. “Aww yeah! Another successful creation by the king of the cafe!” he cheered like a kid.

“King huh? It that there’s a story behind that, or is it a self-proclaimed title?" I chuckled.

He then give me weird look. “If I tell you, will you explain the whole mysterious girl thing you’ve going on?”
