However, after changing, we all managed to make it to the cafe without discussing Tao anymore.

*Chanyeol’s cafe*

“There you are! I’ve been waiting for my favorite terrible trio!” Chanyeol said as he greet us.

“What? What about this face could be possibly be terrible?” Nana said to Chanyeol protested.

He playfully flicked her nose and I felt something weird in the pit my stomach. Was that jealousy? That was silly. I didn’t own Chanyeol’s affection!

“It’s what’s under that face. I know someone who’s spoiled rotten when I see them.” Chanyeol stated as Nana scrunched up her face in mock hurt and continued, “Awww, now I’m sad. If only there were delicious treats around to ease the pain!”

“Right? There’s nowhere to get tasty, flaky pastries anywhere! What a shame.” Hyori supported Nana. I just stand here like a boulder.

“Actually, that specifically why I wanted to see you guys. Well, Miss Frownie Brownie, specifically” he then looked at me.

That giant man looked like he was practically vibrating with excitement. “Last night I was feeling particularly inspired and the nest thing I knew, I had this masterpiece of a confection in front of me!”

With a great flourish, he pulled a plate from under the counter. In the center of it, was the richest, most beautiful brownie. It was with what looked like a thick chocolate mousse through the center. It was topped in a thick layer of blue frosting, with piping along the edge.

“Wait, you made this?” I was shocked.

“Of course. Who do you think makes all the pastries? There isn’t a bakery for miles and miles around here.” Chanyeol said with an amused face.

My mind was spinning at the revelation. “You make all of them? Are you serious?” The image of the tall man bent over a kitchen counter was both amazing and ridiculous.

“Serious as the grave. I take my baking very seriously. And that, is why I would like you to name this” he blushed.

“What? Really? Me?” I asked again for confirmation.

“Of course. It was you who inspired me. It only fits that you name it.” he smile at the thought of it.

“Oh it’s really my pleasure, I will name it ‘Forever Love’.” I chuckled.

“Forever Love! Trust you to come up with something that’s too cute! That fits it.” he let out a cute laugh.

“Wow, I can’t believe you make all of these every night!” I was amazed.

“Oh, it’s not bad. My dynamic duo of part time employees do most of the prep in the day. If you ever wanted, you could stay after close for a bit and see how these are made.” he asked.

“Whoa, really? You’d let me into your kitchen?”I am thrilled.

”Why not? It’d be fun, right?” he replied.

“Um, Hyaka, didn’t a certain someone already invite you to something?” Hyori tell me. Oh snap. Did I forgot again.

“Oh, right. well...” I’ll stick to the promise I made with Tao. That would make me an arse if I didn’t show up.

“I made a promise to a friend to hang out, but some other time? Can we?” I asked him.

“Oh, well that’s understandable. Wouldn’t want you to break a promise.” he replied with a smile.
