Freddy's POV

It was finally the day of the math exam I've been studing like crazy for. My mom told me that if I don't get a good grade, she's gonna ground me and confiscate my skateboard.
I'm glad Summer agreed to help me. If it wasn't for her, I would probably get an F. With her help, I may even get an A! She told me I'm improving, so I really hope I can get an A.

After doing my ordinary morning routine, I went to the kitchen to have breakfast, and saw Summer already awake, cooking something.
"Good morning!" I said.
"Oh! Morning, Freddy!"
"What are you doing?"
"Well, since I'm gonna stay here for a few days, I decided to make breakfast to thank you guys!"
"Aww, that's so cute!"
She blushed a little because of what I said.
When we were done, we started walking to school. When we got there, we went to our classroom to get ready for our exam.
I froze before I passed through the door. What if I don't get a good grade? What if all the time me and Summer spent studing didn't work? I was afraid.
"Freddy? Are you okay?" Summer asked me, looking concerned.
"Summer, I'm afraid. What if I don't pass it?"
"You WILL pass it, Freddy. I know you will."
"How can you be so sure about it?"
"Because you tried your best. You studied hard, and I saw you improving. I trust you. Now you have to trust yourself."
"Thanks, Sum."
She hugged me and we got in the classroom, and sat at our desks.
"Alright, dudes and dudettes! Are you ready for this test?" Mr Finn said, getting in, for the first time, by the door, and on time.

When I finished my test, I got out of the classroom and saw Summer sat on the floor.
"Freddy!" She saw me and got up, walking towards me. "So, how did you go?"
"I think I did good! Maybe I can get a B, or a C."
"Come on, Freddy! You're gonna get an A!"
"Yeah, sure. In my dreams! But I bet you got 100%."
"I hope!"
We went to our break and met up with the other guys on the cafeteria. We just talked and talked until it was class time again.

"Guys, I have your tests here! I'm giving it back to you now." Mr Finn said. Oh no.
He was calling our names from A-Z and when he called my name I froze. I couldn't think of anything, I was horrified.
"Good job, bro." He said, giving me my test.
When I saw my grade, I was like 'Oh my Gosh, are you serious?!'. I got an A!!!!!!!
When he called Summer's name, she got her test and, obviously, got an A.

The last bell rang, and Summer ran to me.
"And...?" She asked, really curious.
I showed her the test and she freaked out!
"Oh my God, Freddy!" She said, jumping on my arms. "I'm so proud of you!"
"Thank you, Sum." We kept hugging for about a minute, and decided to go home.
On our way, I decided to stop by the mall to buy her a present, since she helped me a lot, and told her to keep walking.

I finally got home and went to her room to give her the present.
"Sum?" I knocked on the door.
"Come on in, Freddy!"
"Since you helped me a lot with this test, I decided to buy you a present to thank you."
I handed her the present and she opened it.
"Oh, Freddy! It's beautiful!" She said.
It was a heart locket, that showed two pictures of us two when opened.
I helped her to put it and she gave me a hug. I don't wanna let go.
We pulled away and stared at each other's eyes. Her beautiful blue eyes, that make any guy fall for her. I didn't fall for her eyes, though. I fell for what's inside of it. Summer has such an amazing soul! At least 10 guys have a crush on her at our school. I hope I can win this battle! Actually, I know I'm gonna win her. Wanna know why?
I'd do anything for my sunshine.
