Summer's POV

I just got home from the prom, and I still can't believe it was real. Best night ever!
Freddy asked me to be his date, I had my very first slow dance with my dream guy, I kinda kissed the corner of his lips... I AM SO HAPPY RIGH NOW!
I texted Freddy to thank him for tonight and went to bed to sleep. God, I'm so tired!

The rest of the weekend went well, and it was Monday again. UGH! Am I the only one who wishes weekends had 3 days?!
Anyways, I did my usual morning routine and grabbed a banana for breakfast. When I got out of my house, I saw Freddy waiting for me, so we could walk to school together.
"Good morning, Summer!" He greeted me, smiling.
"Good morning!" I smiled back.
We started walking to school.

Something's different today... Freddy seems a little off... I wonder what's going on with him. To make things clear, I decided to ask him during lunch, since Lesme and Zomika would be having some kind of 'school date' and me and Freddy would be alone.
We got our foods and headed to our table.
"So, Freddy..." I started.
"Yes?" He asked, looking at me.
"You kinda is a little off today... Are you okay?"
"Uhm..." He said, looking really nervous. Like, REALLY nervous. "Yep! I'm totaly fine!" He said while scratching the back of his head.
"Freddy, I know you're lying. You always do that when you're nervous."
"Do not!" He said, and I gave him the 'oh yeah?' look. "Okay, fine! You got me." I knew it! This look always works.
"Come on, Freddy! You can trust me."
"I know. I'm sorry..."
"It's okay. But seriously, if you need help, you can count on me."
"Thanks, Sum." He said and gave me a hug.
"So, what did you guys think of the prom?" Mr Finn said, sitting between us.
"It was pretty great!" Freddy said.
"I loved it!" I answered.
"Uhm, Mr Finn?" Freddy asked.
"Yeah, dude?"
"Why is lunch lady Doris coming to our direction with a huge spoon on her hand and a not so happy face?" I asked.
"Dewey Jordan Finn! I am going to kill you!" She screamed.
"JORDAN?" Freddy and I said, laughing really hard.
"Oh, man." Mr Finn said. "I better run." With that, he started running away from Doris, while Freddy and I kept laughing histericaly.

When class was over, Freddy ran up to me while I was putting my stuff on my locker, since we had no homework to do.
"Summer!"
"Yeah?" I asked, turning around so I could face him.
"I was thinking... Maybe... Uhm... Do you... Uhm..."
"Yeah...?"
"Okay. Do you wanna hang out at the mall? Alone, just the two of us?" He asked, really nervous.
"Are you asking me out?" I asked, looking deep in his eyes, smiling like crazy.
"Yes. I am." He said, looking kinda proud of himself, what made me giggle.
"I would love to." When I said that, a huge smile spread across his face, and I smiled back.
This is gonna be an insteresting afternoon.

Heyo! Sorry for the short chapter. I'm saving the best part for the next two chapters. Sadly, this book is gonna end on chapter 25. But I've been thinking about making the sequel! If you guys have any ideas for the name, it would help me a lot.
