"Who am I?" I asked myself.
You are Dipper Pines. Age Thirteen. Those people there on the screens are your Family-
"I know that! I haven't gone crazy yet Bill." I said.
That's what you think.
"Well. The plan was a bust." I rested my head against the wall. Slumped on the floor, facing my family on those screens.
I had spent the past what felt like days watching them. Colman had only come to visit three times since I threatened his life. But he never asked anything important. He would stand there and I would talk. And every now and then he'd ask a question of seemingly no importance. I couldn't tell what he was up to anymore. He didn't seem to have a pattern.
And so I watched my Family. All nine of the people on the Cipher Circle. Not including me. Even people I didn't particularly like. Robbie, Gideon, Pacifica... Well maybe not Pacifica. They didn't deserve this. None of them did.
Nine of them ate, instead they were strapped to UV equipment. And a tube leading to their arms supplied the nutrients they needed to survive. But they were beginning to get thinner, even Soos. Time seemed to have lost meaning. I could only imagine how bad I looked. The wounds had healed rather quickly, at the expense of my magic. The longest we'd been able to hold out without the regeneration spell was a week. And it must have been that long. I seemed to be running on willpower lately.
I had tried to explain the regeneration spell to Colman on his last visit. I had gotten desperate enough to ask help from the enemy. But he didn't answer me. Instead he just left without a word.
I felt weak. Humiliated. Pathetic. And guilty. So, so guilty. If it weren't for me my family would be in Gravity Falls. Enjoying the summer. If I had been stronger, I could have saved them. If... If...
If I wasn't such a pathetic excuse for a brother Mabel wouldn't be hurting."Huh? ...Who are you?... Why am I here?" I looked up at the sound of Robbie's voice. I looked up.
"Ugh... Where am I?" Pacifica asked on her screen.
"You have ... No right... To keep us here..." Stan said.
They were all waking up. Looking at someone just out of view of the camera.
"Dipper... Where's Dipper... What did you do to him?" Mabel asked weakly. I fell forwards and tried to stand. Slowly and shakily moving towards the screens. Even after all she had been through. I was still the one she was worrying about.
"I-I'm right here Mabel..." I whispered. I reached out my fingers and blue flames flashed before my eyes. An image of her reaching out to me as I burned. Before Bill and I became a Grade A Freak.
What are they planning...? Bill asked.
I don't know.
"Where's... My brother...?" Mabel asked again. She looked so weak. So pale. Mabel shouldn't look like that. She shouldn't.
"Don't worry Alcor." I heard Colman say. It took me a second to realise he was addressing me through the camera. My breathing quickened. What was he doing? What was he planning?
