Return

Hunk had to pry Matt off Shiro at the work camp when he found out that his sister was in space. They are now flying back to the ship, not surprised that Shiro and Matt got them out with no problems. Kal flew with his uncle Shiro and Matt flew with Pidge. The conversation went something like this
"I missed you, Matt. "
"I missed you more, Katie kat. So is Shiro your boooyyyffrriieenndddd?"
"Matt!"
"Aw cmooonnn I'll have to give him the big brother speech. You're a blushing mess, Kate."

Shiro and the others land back on the ship and Allura greets them.
"You must be Matt, Pidge has told us a lot about you." Allura says as she shakes Matt's hand. There's a light blush dusting his face. Pidge snickers and elbows Shiro. He looks at her and she nudges her head in Matt's direction and only then does Shiro notice the blush. He adjusts his hold on Kal and turns to Katie.
"I'll be back, this little guy needs his mama." Kal nods sleepily, he fell asleep in the black lion and is just starting to wake up. He walks to Lance's room, fully waking Kal on the way. He opens Lance's door and Keith spots them as they walk in. He gasps and bolts out of bed, taking Kaluzana from shiro. He begins to cry as he holds his baby close.
"Lance!" Keith calls out to Lance who's in the bathroom. He walks out quickly and sees Kal with Keith. He begins to cry with Keith and hug both of them.
"I finally have my boys back."

Lance, Keith and Kal walk into the kitchen, needing to get Keith food.
"Alright sit there, I'll hold Kal while you eat okay, Keith? He's not going anywhere." Keith tenses but nods. Coran and the others watch silently. Keith eats slowly and pushes the plate away half way through.
"Cmon Keith, you have to eat"
Keith just shakes his head.
"Pwease mama?" Kal asks softly
Keith looks at his baby and pulls the plate back, finishing it. Kal smiles and makes grabby hands at Keith. Keith picks him up and faces him towards Lance.
"Papa eat too!" Lance nods and gets his own plate. The two have been doing all they can to keep Zana happy
"Baby, mama needs to ask you a question."
Zana turns to look at him.
"Did they...did they hit you or do stuff that hurt? Did they say anything to you while you were away from mama and papa?"
Kal hesitates but nods.
"D-dey say no nice tings, fweak and stuffs. Dey no hit me but one meanie push me one time"
Keith nods and holds him close
"You are NOT a freak, no matter what they said. Ok kal?"
"Okie mama"
Lance finishes eating and Kal claps
"Yay mama and papa do good!"
"Well now you gotta eat." lance says and gets another plate of goo. He holds the spoon out, noticing that kal tends to make a big mess when he does it himself, probably since he's been in a jailcell for extremely long. Kal was fully potty trained since it seems galrans dont know what diapers are, he seems speak very well for 2 1/2, and has only ever used his hands to eat. Lance can't help but feel bad, the child didn't really get a chance to learn and grow like a normal kid.
"Kal you speak very well for your age, did someone teach you."
Kal nods
"Big puwple man hewped me! He said my mama was gunna save me and mama did!" The paladins look at one another
"Its either a galran or..." Lance's voice cuts off and he suddenly walks out Keith places Zana in Shiro's arms and follows.
"Lance what's wrong!?"
"That man, it could've been Zana's dad; his real dad. If that man ever finds kaluzana, why will he need me?"
"Lance, you are his real dad. Maybe not by blood but we love Kal more than anyone ever could. No matter who wants our baby, he's ours and only ours."
