Introductions And Planning

Keith brings the stand owner into an alley.
"What the fu..what do you mean your son?" Keith spits harshly.
"You got my son out of that terrible prison." The man says and nudges his head to Zana. "How?"
"Im a Paladin of Voltron, I found him on a rescue mission. "
"Nice going, you stupid paladin! They'll come for me now!" The man shoves Keith a little and Zana hits him.
"Dont do dat to my mama! Mean puwple man!"
Keith holds Zana closer and shushes him
"Mama's alright, everything's okay"
The man chuckles.
"I sold him, he's the last Madukion and sharaduve mix. Extremely rare, but extremely powerful. The last of the Madukions are dead except that brat. But allow me to introduce myself. I am Maruzaka, Kaluzana's father."
Keith growls and pushes Maruzaka against the small brick wall of the run down building next to his stand.
"You. Stay. Away. From my. Kid" he shoves the poor excuse of a father, picks up his things and walks around till he stumbles upon the Holt siblings.
"Do you know where Lance is?"
The dont look away from the tech infront of them but nod.
"Ship "
Keith nods and hurries to the ship after giving them the rest of his money. He enters the ship and sees Lance on the couch. He sits down and gives Kal his toy.
"Go play, mama and papa need to talk alright baby?"
Zana nods "is it bout the puwple man?" Keith nods but shoos zana
"Go play with the toy mama got you."
With that; Zana runs off.
"Purple man?" Lance questions
"His...father" Keith whispers
"You met him?"
"He's awful, h-he sold Zana for his own freedom." Keith begins to cry and Lance pulls him close.
"The galra want our baby, Lance. And they wont stop until they have him"

"Sharaduve? But they died out about 2 years ago." Allura says.
"Zana is 2 1/2. Looks like they arent all dead." Keith says darkly. Matt is babysitting while the paladins think up a plan on what to do with the new information.
"Well I say we keep the information secret till we kick Zarkon's butt and its safe for Zana" Lance says fiddling with something in his pocket. The other paladins nod in agreement
"Lucky for us, he looks Madukion so the secret won't be hard to keep."

"NO! Foolish man, now the red paladin knows why we want the insufferable child." Zarkons voice booms as he watches from Zana's eyes. After preforming a bit of magic and wiping the child's memory of the small invasion into his mind, Haggar turned the paladins 'precious baby' into their own tool. They let the paladins take the child, its so much better for them to have hope; only for it to be shattered like their hearts as their child will be ripped from them once again. Haggar speaks up
"Do not worry Lord Zarkon, though the child will be more securely protected; we'll get him into our grasp once again eventually."
Zarkon stands and walks out of the room, the door snapping closed after him with a bang of metal on metal. Zarkon chuckles darkly
"If only they knew how their beloved child will be a cause of their downfall and the end of Voltron..."
(A/N sorry bout the bad introduction of Zana's dad. So basically, his dad was imprisoned with him and then sold his son to them for freedom. They were going to kill Zana but his father told them if they let him go he'd tell them of Zana's power. He's sick and twisted and will be seen later on, since he now is a follower of Zarkon out of fear but also for power)
