My Keith

The Small Things

Team Voltron left the planet as soon as possible. Now, they have nothing to do. Lance looks into space and Keith wraps his arms around him from behind. Lance feels 'something' as Keith presses against him.
"Our room is empty and Matt is watching Zana." Keith murmrs in Lance's ear. Lance immediately picks Keith up and practically runs to their room.

Keith and Lance lay in their bed, after changing into new pairs of boxers. Keith's head lays on Lance's chest, his legs tangled in Lance's. Keith closes his eyes for a minute and catches his breath.
"Keith?"
"Yeah, Lance?"
"Can you let me up? I have something for you"
Keith releases Lance and curls up in the blankets. Lance puts a hand into the pocket of his jeans from earlier and pulls out a small box.
"Here, I got a new ring for you. " He hands the box to Keith who sits up, wincing as he does. He opens the box and gasps. The band and head (the part that holds the gem) were a matte black and the gem was a beautiful purple color and was about the size of a dime.
"Lance its beautiful." Keith says, taking the ring out of the box hesitantly.
"Annnddd its indestructible. Made sure of that after last time. But keith after whats happened recently I dont want you to wear that as a promise ring. I want you to wear it as an engagement ring, once we get out of space I wanna marry you but for now I want to be able to call you my fiancé." Keith begins to cry and Lance pulls into a hug.
"I'd love to if we get out of this mess alive." He slips the ring onto the right finger and it fits perfect.
"Were you planning on asking? It fits my ring finger perfectly" Lance blushes, scratching the back of his neck but nods. Keith kisses him and smiles.
"You're such a dork. "
A knock at the door stops Lance's reply.
"Is it safe? Are you decent?" They hear Matt from outside. Lance reaches over and opens the door. Keith cuddles into Lance as Matt walks in
"Ewwww you guys are worse than Katie and Shiro." Matt says 'gagging'.
"Where's Zana?" Lance asks.
"Cuddling with his uncle Hunk."
"Should we get him?"
"Nah, you two deserve a break. Maybe a date night? You became parents and defenders of the universe young." Keith and Lance consider it for a moment before Keith speaks.
"Alright, we can relax in Lance's room so one of you can stay in here with Zana tonight if that's okay?"
Matt nods and walks towards the door. "I'll let Zana and the others know. Don't have too much fun." Matt exits with a wink leaving both paladins blushing.

The pair were now cuddling in Lance's old bed, watching a movie Matt and Pidge bought.
"What's this called again?" Keith asks.
"Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone" Lance replys looking at the movie case.
"There's a ton more after this one. 7 to be exact"
Keith groans and cuddles into Lance
"That's like a billion hours."
Lance laughs. "We can watch them a different day. The Holts are major fans so they'll be on alot."

The credits roll and by now, Keith can barely keep his eyes open
"Keith?"
"Hmm?"
"Go to sleep. You're tired babe"
Keith pulls the blankets and closes his eyes. Lance holds him close and rubs his back, closing his eyes as well. The pair slowly drifts to sleep, smiles on their faces.
(This is such a filler chapter ugh. I lost the first 200 words yesterday so i had to rewrite it)
