An Odd Day of Shopping

In the following weeks Keith has grown more comfortable with girl clothes. Lance, loves it. The shirts, the little shorts, the dresses, it all looked great on him. Keith was surprised the clothes look alot like Earth clothing. Currently he was wearing a cropped, red sweatshirt and tight black shorts.
Lance has been walking behind him all day.
"Lance! Why do you keep following me?" Keith says turning as he crosses his arms. Lance picks him up and throws him over his shoulder.
"Its your fault for wearing those damn shorts."
Keith blushes as Lance brings him into their room, locking the door behind them.

Lance walks out the room grinning and Keith follows this time, a black skirt on instead.
"Those were my favorite shorts. " Keith pouts.
"I'll fix them, I'm the tailor for a reason mr. lace underwear." Keith blushes but pouts further.
"You tore them in half..."
"Then we'll get you new ones, darling." Lance says kissing Keith's head.

Since the ship needed some time to rest and refuel, the paladins, Zana, and Matt decided to do a bit of shopping. Keith held onto Lance's hand tightly, nervous about wearing female clothes in public. Lance holds Zana with his left arm since he's been taking a small nap.
"Keith, don't worry, everything will be fine."

Keith just finished paying for a pair of black 'wedges' and everyone was ready to leave till hell broke loose.
"This, this is a paladin of voltron?! This is a disgrace!" Someone yells. Keith turns to face an alien, Lance and Zana behind their loved one.
"E-excuse me?"
"Those are clothes for a PRINCESS, how is someone supposed to be tough and save the world if they cant even dress like a WARRIOR?" The alien says rudely. Lance goes to step in when Zana steps infront of Keith
"Leave my mama alone. My mama is a good person who is saving YOUR life, so why dont you SHUT UP!" He yells as his eyes glow blue and he gets a bit bigger, stronger. His electric gaze deepens and the ground beneath them shakes and the sky rumbles. The crowd gasps and almost everyone flees to their homes, including the alien who started it. This causes Zana to calm; the sky clears, the ground calms and everything goes back to normal. Except it wasnt normal, not anymore atleast.

The paladins and Matt try to act as normal as possible but Zana notices the slight change in their demeanor. He tugs on Keith's skirt to get his attention.
"Did I do somethin wrong, mama?" Zana seemed...older. Not by much but he was talking better and kept up his pace a bit. He'd also grown a half inch, not that it was noticeable.
"N-no Zana, we just didn't know you could do that."
"Do what?"
"The blue eyes, the sky, the ground?"
"I did that?"
"Yeah, but its alright we're gonna have Coran check you out okay?"

"Its completely normal. He's from 2 warrior species. The blue eyes and getting stronger is from the
Madukion in him, the ground shaking and sky is sharaduve. The 2 bloodlines mixing is rare and makes extremely loyal and powerful warriors, its clear why Zarkon wants him."
"So what do we do, will these 'out bursts' happen often?" Shiro asks.
"They shouldn't, it was just his protective nature kicking in, like Keith's galra genes. " Coran explains.
Keith looks at the floor.
"I-I'm sorry. This wouldn't have happened if Zana didnt protect me, and he wouldn't have needed to if I wasn't such a freak. " Keith says as tears well up in his eyes. Lance holds him close and carries him out of the room. He sits Keith on their bed and wipes his tears.
"You are NOT a freak. You're my beautiful fiancé, the perfect 'mother', the best red paladin ever, You're Keith Kogane total badass and I love you. "
