My Keith

The Blade of Marmora

The group watched the screen waiting for a connection to go through. Slowly, the screen cleared and Allura began to speak.
"Hello, we apologise for the sudden arrival but we must request entry into your base."
"Has something gone wrong, princess Allura?" Kolivan inquires.
"No, but we believe Keith's mother is one of your Blades."
(Note: i recently discovered the members can be referred to as "blades" so Keith's mom isnt an actual knife)
Dromilla comes into view.
"Kolivan?" She asks gently.
"Dromilla! Where's Thance?"
"He saved Lance and I at the cost of his own life."
Kolivan lowers his head.
"You may enter in a few ticks, then we can speak."

"Calvalian, will be here in a moment."
Keith looks at his armour and taps his foot nervously. Lance grabs his hand and squeezes.
"Its okay, she'll love you."
The door whooshes open and Keith is looking at a large woman, features similar to his own.
She gasps and walks forward hesitantly.
"M-mom..?" Keith asks, tears building in his eyes. She quickly pulls his close and tears pour down her face. She pulls him to her arms length and looks at him.
"You're just as tiny as your father." she mumbles and he hugs her again. She kisses his head.
"My baby..." she mumbles.
She releases him after a minute and her eyes meet her sister's.
"Milla!"
"Cal!"
The two women embrace and Calvalian freezes for a moment. She turns to Keith.
"Why...why are you not on Earth?"
"Keith is a paladin of Voltron." Shiro explains since Keith is frozen.
"But don't worry, ma'am Keith is totally safe!" Lance adds.
"And who are you?" She asks Lance
"I'm uh um...well..." Lance stutters
"He's my mate." Keith says smapping out of his shock. Calvalian smiles brightly and hugs Lance.
"Now I have two babies!" She says and kisses Lance's head like she did Keith's. Lance hugs her tightly, missing his mom back on Earth
"Thank you..." He whispers.

"So, you really want to stay with us?" Shiro asks.
"I can no longer be away from my son. Kolivan gave permission and if you'll have me, I'd love to stay."
"I dont see why not. " Shiro says and glances at Allura.
"If thats alright with you, princess?"
"Of course." Allura says with a slightly forced smile.
"Well if everything is settled, how about that break in the barlaxium system?"
The team bursts into smiles.

"Its only for 2 days or we'll be found. Understand?" Allura reminds the group.
They all show some form of understanding before exiting the ship onto the only planet that they were allowed to land on. Lance sees the green sand and purple water of the almost beach and begins to run, stripping himself of his shirt and towel. Pidge follows in her green one piece but instead sitting on her towel with a tablet. Keith carries Zana to the water and the pair put their feet in. Shiro and Hunk sit by Pidge while Allura begins to soak in the planet's sun. Coran, Dromilla, and Calvalian stay on the ship just relaxing. For once the group finally gets to just relax and unwind. Till Keith gets pulled in by lance. He immediately clings to Lance.
"LANCE!" He yells
"What's wrong?"
"I-I cant swim."
Lance brings Keith closer to shore.
"Better? You can touch the bottom now."
Keith just nods.
Zana stepped out of the water when Keith got pulled in since Keith told him not to be in the water without someone with him.
Lance kisses Keith softly.
"Keith?"
"Yes, Lance?"
"Have you ever thought of a bikini?"
